Phil (notacat) | 37 comments I've had a look around and I can't find what feels like it should be an obvious question.

When creating a series entirely composed of anthologies, should each volume be a "primary work" within that series, despite the default rubric saying that anthologies should not be tagged as such?

My gut feeling says they should be, but I just wanted to check whether this is an apparent loophole of which I am missing the point.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments You're right, in a series of anthologies each anthology is a primary work. Here's an example.

Carolyn (seeford) | 573 comments I agree with Cait. The general directions are for series where one story in the anthology applies to a series, not one for which the total work applies.

Phil (notacat) | 37 comments Thanks for that. I find that my gut feelings usually work out OK, but I could not find anything to back them up ;-)
