Ahh, good news. Wasn't sure what the house rules were for embedding big images. I'll use that going forward.:)

but it will not make you very popular on the forum.
You can say 'width=' and 'height=' for the more technical.

I definitely like the UK version of the Abercrombie more than the US version.
Yeah, that seems to be the general consensus re: Abercrombie's cover. The Orbit/US covers certainly get their point across, but you can't match the style of the Gollancz/UK covers. I look forward to seeing the new Abercrombie cover every year.
If you can find the name of the artists, I think that's a plus. I'm not sure how hard that is to find, if you don't have a copy of the book.

Side note-I wonder how the rise of ebooks will effect cover art?
On the one hand- there are fewer hard covers sold.Hence less money to go around. On the other hand-if you want to sell a hard copy then the book had better have good cover art.

Well I'm sold on Serene Invasion. Partly because I like the stuff I've read of Eric Brown previously, solid scifi, but mostly for that kickass cover. :)
