Me, Myself, and I This is the store you can get your outfit from if you're running just a ta bit late. Or even if you simply want to browse. It is within all the other little stores on the boardwalk.
description

Me, Myself, and I Cethin's lips curled into a grin as he pushed the door, holding it open for her. "Oh really?" His dark eyebrow arched. "Is that an offer, Sparky?" He blinked against the harsh florescent eyes, his vision having gotten used to the darkness. Muttering "Shit" under his breath, his pupils dilated, working to get used to the unnatural light. "You sure you're gonna be able to find a dress here?" His eyes swept over the remaining dresses left, unable to keep a snicker from escaping his lips.

Jaidyn "Shut up before I slap you." Blythe said. Her eyes were immediately drawn to a black strapless layered dress that had red rhinestones designed into a sophisticated pattern . She liked it. Blythe stepped into the dressing room, and luckily the dress was her size. She took the pink one outside after paying, and shot a single fire ball at it. The pink madness burst into flames, with Blythe snickering as she watched.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin laughed but decided to keep his mouth shut, figuring he'd cut her some slack before going right back to cracking jokes. It wasn't like he'd ever follow through with his words: it was all talk. Blythe barely tolerated him. He watched her walk into the dressing room with a fiery red dress, still wearing his mask. Waiting for her, he turned his head when a group of Elementals walked in. Giggles and whispers soon followed. After Blythe went outside, he followed, shooting the girls one last devilish grin. "I think someone has some pent up frustration." The words were a response to the mass of fire before him. "Do we need to go back to therapy for this?"

message 5: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe jumped, completely taken off guard when Cethin appeared next to her. "I-Uh...Hate pink." She said innocently. Truth be told, as a child, Blythe was practically tortured with the color. When Dylan was five she decided to wear a pink skirt to school. Someone pushed her and Blythe came out. As soon as Blythe was finished beating the kid up, she tore the skirt off and went the rest of the day without pants. Ever since, pink has officially been her worst nightmare.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin rose an eyebrow. "Really? I couldn't have guessed that, what with the flaming dress in front of me and all." Something inside of him loosened at the wonderful heat being emitted from the fire. His muscles relaxed and he stepped closer, about a foot away from the flames. It would seem dangerous- for anyone else. Glancing back to make sure no one was really paying attention, Cethin pulled the mask up off his eyes, exposing his face. "The dress fits nice though, right?" His voice sounded slightly distracted- fire was sort of like a drug for him. Not many people saw him directly around it purely for that reason.

message 7: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn "Yeah. It's fine..." Blythe gazed at Cethin and narrowed her eyes, slightly concerned. Then she smirked. "It's a shame it's probably going to be torn off of me tonight." Of course she was joking, but she waas excellent at pretending to be someone she's not. She is, after all, Dylan as well.

Me, Myself, and I "That's good." Cethin's eyes were focused on the fire, the reflection dancing over his different colored gaze. He nodded, not really listening. "Uh huh. That's great." His back was still facing her, obviously working on autopilot. Cethin's hands itched to control the wild flames and, giving it a little shove, the flames brightened slightly.

message 9: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe raised an eyebrow, attempting to get his attention. "Cethin? Oh Cethhhinnnn..." She poked him hesitantly. "Cethin! I swear I will push you into that ocean!" She yelled. Okay...weird.... Her curious side over powered her angry side and her eyes then turned green. "What are you doing?" Dylan asked.

message 10: by Me, Myself, and I (last edited Jul 15, 2012 09:26PM) (new)

Me, Myself, and I Cethin growled slightly at being touched, eyes still pinned on the flames. And then, realizing what he'd just done, blinked and pulled away from the fire. "Sorry. It's fine." He pulled his mask down over half his face again. "Next time, do something to distract me, okay? Slap me, punch me, whatever you have to." He didn't sound much like himself at the moment. Hearing himself in his own ears, he smirked again, causing a dimple to appear. "Or, you know, a kiss would work too." He gave his trademark wink, turning to look for a distraction. Preferably, a Fire Elemental wearing a really short dress.

message 11: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn "Ew! Talk to Blythe about that! And what am I wearing?! Is that my dress?!" Dylan pointed at herself and then the fiery heap in front of her. Horror plastered itself on her face as chaos erupted inside of her. Blythe! You said you would light it on fire! Dylan yelled mentally. You know...sometimes I say crazy things when I'm drunk...Or I lied. It was probably the second one. Blythe said calmly.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin grinned, his eyes still scanning the streets. "You mean you wouldn't take one for the team, Dylan?" He was used to the whole Blythe/Dylan thing by now. It had taken a few hundred years, but it seemed like second nature now. "And yup, it's your dress. I don't think Sparky was a big fan of that one. Next time, go with something less. . ." He looked over at her, still smirking. "Princess-like?" He turned back around and his eyes narrowed, spotting the perfect victim. A lone Fire Elemental was standing by the railing, bare legs exposed by a dress that should have been considered a shirt.

message 13: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Dylan growled and instantly Blythe was back again. "Well...she should've known. In the dress store I said, and I quote, 'If it's pink I'll kill it, but you can pick the dress.'" Blythe smirked. Dylan was such an idiot sometimes. "What are you doing?" She put her hands on her hips and angrily glared at Cethin. Therapy. He needed lots of it.

((Have you ever seen the anime Rosario + Vampire?))

Me, Myself, and I (Lols no, I don't really watch anime. My friend does though- I can ask him about it. Why?)

Cethin couldn't help another smirk. "I guess she didn't take you for the. . ." He glanced back at her from behind his mask. "The clothes-destroyer type." The dimple appeared on his cheek again. Turning back around, he watched the girl as she pulled out her cellphone, beginning to text away. Bored, hmm?. "Oh the possibilities." The words were a mutter to himself, before he started to move towards the Elemental. He paused at her question and answered, without turning around, "Sparky, you need to let loose once and while. It does a world of good." Insert smirk here.

message 15: by Jaidyn (last edited Jul 15, 2012 09:52PM) (new)

Jaidyn ((Because Dylan isn't so much bipolar as much as she is like Moka on that anime. Moka has a Rosary that keeps her true form...not there.))

Blythe slowly raised her eyebrow. "Where are you going?" She asked, not knowing if she actually wanted the question answered. "What are you saying? Cethin!" She called as he began walking towards the Fire Elemental. She let out an exhasperated sigh and trudged after him.

message 16: by Me, Myself, and I (last edited Jul 15, 2012 10:00PM) (new)

Me, Myself, and I (Yup, I have no clue what you're talking about. As you can see, I've led a sheltered life. I shall look into, though xD)

Cethin stopped, hearing her heels follow behind him, and turned around, walking back toward her. "I'm saying, I'm going. To. Have. Fun. Need I spell it out for you, babe?" He spoke as if talking to a child, pronouncing the words slow in his familiar raspy voice. "You know, fun? You should try it." His blue and brown eyes glanced up, watching people as they passed by them. "There are plenty of guy Fire Elementals here. You're probably out of all of their leagues, but I'm sure you can find someone." He flashed a grin.

message 17: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe snorted. Out of their league was right. "Well, there is this one guy, but I don't think he's really interested. I mean, maybe, but he says those things to everyone." She said loudly, though to herself. She pondered this for a moment. To say, or not to say? She decided to let her mouth decide.

Me, Myself, and I (Did she say that out loud ? I'mma just assume that she did xD)

Cethin raised a dark eyebrow at her snort, his lips turning up into a smirk. He crosses his arms over his broad chest, still looking at her. "Are you, Blythe, the Fire Elder, acting doubtful?" His teeth flashed as he smirked. "And how will you ever know if you don't try, Sparky?" The thought that he could know who she was talking about never even crossed his mind, blue and brown eyes gleaming as if daring her to listen to him.

message 19: by Jaidyn (last edited Jul 15, 2012 10:17PM) (new)

Jaidyn "Try what, exactly?" Blythe crossed her arms over her chest, just as he did. She really wanted to hear his advice. In fact, she wished she had a video camera for this. It was bound to be idiotic. She smirked as she waited for an answer. She focused on Cethin's tie in the meantime.

Me, Myself, and I (Lol, he's not wearing a tie- Cethin doesn't do tuxedos ^^)

Cethin laughed at the challenging note in her voice. "Poor, naive, Sparky." He brushed her hair back away from her ear and leaned down. "Babe, if I have to explain that to you, then you really are a lost cause." The words were whispered into her ear and, smirking, he pulled back. "Good luck with your mystery guy." Turning around, he started back for the Fire Elemental still busy texting away on her phone.

message 21: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn ((Errr...Imaginary bipolar tie?))

Blythe narrowed her eyes. "Lost cause, huh? Then you should know that girl over there is my sister." She leaned against the rail and watched him, her own pride eating up her feelings. Dylan was the gushy one, she would know what to do. But she couldn't ask her to do anything since Blythe burned her dress. Well, shit...I suppose I could write a letter...

((Not actually her sister lol))

Me, Myself, and I (Right. Of course.)

Cethin turned while walking, ending up moving backwards. "Well then, I guess your family has good genes." Laughing, -because he really didn't believe her- he turned back around and jogged toward the texting girl. She looked up, caught sight of him, and dropped her phone. He chuckled low in his throat even as his hand shot out to catch it before it could hit the ground. His lips moved, words coming from him, but he was barely aware of what he was saying. She giggled and he grinned. Caught.

message 23: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe gave a frustrated grunt and stomped a few feet. Cethin was such a....She growled. Blythe held her hand up in front of face and lit it on fire. She wondered how Cethin could possibly be an Elder while shovingfire in her face. Dylan screamed from inside her necklace, but Blythe ignored it.

Me, Myself, and I (. . . . I'm sorry. I am half asleep. What's happening ?)

message 25: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn ((Haha, Blythe is lighting her face on fire. That is one fierce face palm))

Me, Myself, and I (Twhat ? To Blythe: That is not attractive ! Cethin may like girls, but crazy ? Not so much xD)

Bright light flickered from the corner of Cethin's eyes and he turned his head. And what he saw nearly made his heart stop. What. The. Hell. Wrenching the girl off him, he ran toward her. The flames were memorizing but he ignored them as best as he could. Grabbing her arm, he jerked it away from her face, instantly smothering out the flames with his own ability. "What the hell?" He yelled, shaking her. As an Elder, the flames may not leave an actual mark, but the sight? It was burned into the back of his brain. As it would stay, for the rest of his Elder-effing-days.

message 27: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn "What? Jeez, my face was cold." Blythe defended. Honestly, she was a little loony but this was an act of boredom and skepticism. She looked at Cethin like he had just interrupted her favorite song; a serious look that said 'If this isn't important then I'm going to kill you'. She crossed her arms and waited for a legit response that was worth her time.

(( Mind if I join? This isn't the most ideal place for an entrence, but it's the most active. Unless either of you two has another free character that I could open somewhere else with? ))

Me, Myself, and I "Your face. Was. Cold." Cethin repeated slowly, his heart slowly coming back down from overdrive. And when worry wasn't flooding his face? He looked utterly pissed. He knew fire couldn't really hurt her, but still. That wasn't an image he ever wanted to see. "That's great. Hope you're warmer now." His face was cold looking, eyes distant. It was the face he gave anyone who wasn't someone he knew personally and/or someone he was trying to hook up with. "Have a wonderful night, Blythe." The fact that he hadn't called her by her normal nickname was testimony enough of how pissed he was. He turned, beginning his stalk away from the scene of the crime.

Me, Myself, and I (And I have Vivian at the ballroom.)

(( I'll go there, then. Thanks. ))

message 32: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn "Now that I have your attention...." Blythe smirked. She placed her hands on the hips of her flowy lack dress. Was he actually pissed? Now that she thought about it, her face really was cold. Dylan facepalmed from inside their necklace. Loony was an understatement, and both girls knew it.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin continued walking away from her, his back stiffened. Compared to his normal, relaxed slouch, the look was a bit unnatural. "Have a good night, Blythe." The words were a repeat from before and he didn't stop when he'd spoken the words to her. Anger was burning off him like heat from a fire's flames. He adjusted his mask again, smoothing down the front of his shirt as he moved, not really stopping to fix anything.

message 34: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blyhte narrowed her eyes and ran as fast as she could in heels over to Cethin. She grabbed his arm forcefully, forcing him to stop. "Hey." She said quietly. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin instantly froze when she grabbed him. Slowly, he turned around, his multicolored eyes narrowed. "Blythe, you can't just-" His jaw tightened as he inhaled sharply. How did he explain this to her, when he himself didn't even understand it? "Nothing. It's whatever." He gave her his signature smirk, but it still looked somewhat tense as he pulled his arm away.

message 36: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn "Cethin..." Blythe pleaded. "You don't have to leave..." Her voice was practically begging him to stay so she could explain. The only problem was that she didn't know how. Blythe's emotions were all jumbled up in her head now. Should I be worried? Does his worry mean that he likes me?

Me, Myself, and I Cethin crossed his arms over his chest as he looked down at her. "Staying would only do more harm then good." He wasn't used to being this damn serious. It wasn't in his DNA. Pasting on a lazy smirk, he cocked an eyebrow. "Besides, I have another Fire Elemental to find." And stress to relieve. He'd obviously blown it with Texter- shoving a girl off him tended to be a turn off.

message 38: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe tried to speak, and no matter how mcuh she wanted to be that Fire Elemental, she knew she would never have the guts to say something about it. "Cethin..." She murmured to herself. She couldn't take his seriousness. Obviously something was way wrong, but Blythe wasn't exactly the world's greatest puzzle-solver.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin turned away from her, starting to walk back down the boardwalk in his hunt. He waved within turning around, blue and brown eyes scanning the people walking by. "See ya later, Sparky." The people's faces before him blurred, becoming a smudge of color. He kept seeing the effing flash of Blythe practically lighting her face on fire and he was barely paying attention to where he was going. His feet were moving without much consent from his brain.

message 40: by Jaidyn (new)

Jaidyn Blythe stood there, gaping. "What the hell just happened?" She asked Dylan. Dylan responded with a laugh. Blythe growled and sat down right there next to the flaming dress. Why were crushes so damn confusing?

Me, Myself, and I Cethin smiled when he spotted the perfect (well, another perfect) victim, also in another short dress. Maybe he was a legs kinda guy? Who knew. He ran to catch up with the girl, smiling a charming upturn of his lips. The familiar dimple cut into his cheek as the girl started talking to him. Easy come, easy go.

Me, Myself, and I (Take, take, take it all, but chu never give ! ;o Lols, that's Cethin for ya xD)

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Isabeth walked in, paying no attention to other customers. She let her arms glide across the dresses. Looking for something worse, she hated attention. Sometimes, it was fun. Yes, getting attention was all fun and games. Until your friend ditches you. Loneliness was easier than rejection. She smiled at her own thoughts to herself.

Me, Myself, and I Cethin paused in the conversation with the girl and turned his head, catching sight of Isabeth walking into the masquerade store. Ending the conversation with her didn't take too long, and he jogged back toward the store. Pushing the door open, he walked inside again, flinching at the bright lights. Rinse and repeat, eh? "Hey," The word was called over to her. "Looking for a replacement dress?" Damn, can you say 'creeper'? Wasn't like he had much to lose, though.

message 49: by █║ ✕ Angel ‟ (last edited Jul 17, 2012 03:05PM) (new)

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Isabeth's yes widened. Hearing his voice. When she turned around, she had her normal expression on. "Hey!" She gave a fake smile. "Yes, .."

Me, Myself, and I Cethin cocked his head to the side, amber and blue eyes looking at her before looking around the store. "If you don't mind me asking, what's wrong with the one you're wearing now?" Don't get me wrong, I love the heat, but this damn mask has got to go. It felt like something was trying to suffocate his face. With one last glance to make sure none of the customers were really paying attention to him, he tugged off the mask concealing half his face.
