Elementals [Advanced RP] discussion

Fired hugged him back, beaming she was so happy. "I feel exactly the same way, I was so worried about the taking it slow thing, but I didn't want to bottle it up any longer" she said quietly, still in shock of what had happened

Elena stumbled into the dock, cursing herself silently. Yet again, when it came to confrontation, she had frozen, been unable to do anything. The fight in the ballroom was a perfect chance to show her grandmother, Lollik, everyone, that she could cope, that she could stand up for herself. But yet again she had failed.

She shot out her hand in frustration, uprooting several small saplings and sending them shooting away from her. The flowers began to twist into strange shapes. She collapsed onto her knees, becoming vaguely aware of a boy and a girl staring at her. Suddenly self-conscious, she knew her singed, ripped and soaking dress and messy hair must make her look like a mad person. She slowly looked up at them.

Fifer smiled "well it wasn't too much, you drive me crazy Benny" she said truthfully. She'd never met someone who did that to her. She didn't know why, but she loved every second of it

Fifer heard the girl. It snapped her out of Benny's trance and she looked over at her. She looked like she'd been through a war zone and back, and Fifer got up to walk closer to her "are you okay?" she asked quietly and nervously.

he looks at the girl confused "are you ok.."he says to the girl with the ripped and burnt dress "do you need any help or something"he says to her his eyes wide and ready to help if she need it or if she was going to talk.

Elena felt her head spin. "Yes, I think so.... There, was a fight... in the ballroom. Several Elementals and some Elders, plus... a friend... of mine...Which...Element...are you....from?" Each word was a considerable effort.

"um im a mixed element...are you ok"he says and helps her stand "i think you need some help..why dont you sit down "he helps her sit"now tell me what happened..ok"he ays calm

Fifer nodded as she helped Benny "I'm earth" she said, wondering why the girl had asked about that. Her face was lined with worry, and she looked at the girl intently.

A Mixed Element? Elena thought confusedly. But she allowed him to sit her down. "There...was a fight in the ballroom. A friend of mine was involved. At the first sign of violence, I froze. It's happened before - I just can't stop it. Plus, my powers, they are always a strain to use. It's like they're not natural. I can control flowers easily, but anything more saps my strength almost to breaking point."

Her head began to feel clearer and she stood slowly. She turned to the boy. "Thank you," she said.

Fifer looked at her with worried eyes "are you sure you're alright?" she asked with a voice full of concern. She hoped that the fight was over, she hated confrontation.

he stand sup helping her "no problem...im sorry about the fight..are you ok..are you hurt"he asked her worried. he felt like he knew this girl that hes seen her before and something was telling him to help her nno matter what

"I think I'll be okay. Just cuts and bruises mainly..." She trailed off, wanting to ask the boy a question, but scared of being impertinent. "Um, I don't mean to be rude, but, er, how can you be a mixed Elemental? Like, where do you stay?"

Fifer just watched the two of them. She felt bad for Benny, because she knew he hated explaining about his elements. She thought about changing the subject, but decided Benny could handle it.

he sighs "oh i stay in the one i choose"he says not telling her what elements he is but hes not mad at her felt like he could never be mad at her and he didnt know why.

Fifer looked at the girl, hoping no one had been hurt during the fight. "what element are you?" she asked politely. She couldn't tell by just looking at her.

"Earth," Elena told the girl. "I'm Elena Morgenstern." She studied the boy intently. She felt as though she had seen him before, known him even, but she knew it was impossible. The only other person of her own age she had met until tonight had been a young girl from the village near her grandmother's cottage, who had come advertising her services as a maid. Her grandmother's deep mistrust of everyone and the isolation of the house meant other visitors were rare.

The feeling scared Elena. She had only been in town for a couple of hours, but she had already met a girl whose past could have been connected to her mother's disappearance, and now there was this boy. But despite her doubts and ill feelings, she had lived more in the past couple of hours than in the rest of her life put together.

Fifer nodded "cool, I'm Fifer, by the way, Fifer Gem" she said, still a hint of worry in her voice. She smiled absently at the girl as she studied Benny. It caused a flare of jealousy, but she tried to push it away.

He smilies at the girl "I'm Benny...nice to meet you"he can't get rid of the feeling like he knew this girl.maybe he's seen her before or she looks like someone he's met.bit he knew he was wrong that he knew this girl he felt like he could trust her.

*Susan stood at the edge of the dock, moving the water back and forth in small waves, pondering to herself about what had become of the world, as she watched the waters move in ways she found to be unusual*

Elena was torn. She wanted to ask about her mother, but she didn't want to push Benny away - the connection she felt to him was so powerful, she didn't want to muck anything up. She decided just to go for it.

"Benny. I...I know this must seem strange, but I feel like I've known you before. But I can't have, because I lived in an isolated house many miles away from anyone. I...I haven't told anyone this before, but...my mother, she disappeared after her first Masquerade. She and three other teenagers were never seen again. I was delivered onto my grandmother's doorstep when I was only a few months old - I have no idea who my father is. My grandmother has kept me from attending the last two Masquerades, so even though I'm nineteen, this is the first time I've been to a Masquerade. She doesn't know I found out what happened to my mother - I discovered the truth in an old letter. I..." She trailed off, wanting to see how he would react. It sounded like something out of a storybook, she knew that. Would he even believe her?

"oh im so sorry..that must be terrible for you"he says "and i feel the same way..like i know"he says looking at her with wide eyes he didnt want to mess it up but he felt like hes heard her story before. he couldnt help but want to help her

Fifer looked at the ground. She wasn't exactly sure what to say, or if there was anything she could say. She just stood next to Benny and listened to their conversation.

Elena grasped his hands in hers, relieved that he didn't think she was insane. "Thank you," she said. "It's a relief to have someone else know. Have you... do you know anything that could be connected with my mother's disappearance? Or the way I can't use my powers properly?"

He looked back at fifer and then looks down at there hands "I'm sorry I don't know.."he said and felt bad he couldn't help this girl he felt like he knew so well.he just dosent know what to do.he wants to help but what about fifer they are together and he dosent want to mess up with herut was a hard choice to make .he knows that he just met this girl but he feels like he knows her that he could trust her with anything that he can't be mad at her ever. But fifer he loves her he really does loved her slot.

"hi, I'm fifer" fifer said brightly to the girl, smiling at her. She was trying to show Benny that he wasn't the only one who could make friends. She was pretty annoyed with him, giving that other girl goo goo eyes, right after he said he loved her.

*Susan began to move the water around in a stream above the surface, trying to analyze the conditions of the water to see if she could figure out why the behavior of the water was the it is now*

Fifer smiled at the water. It looked pretty good. She didn't really mind that the girl hadn't answered her, she was just happy to be away from Benny. She looked out across the water and tried to sort through all the thoughts in her head

*Susan moved the water up to her, so that she could examine the contents within it* "This water is tainted with blood..." *He voice sounded depressed* "This war has brought too much bloodshed..."

Fifers eyes went a bit wide "a...er...a war?" she said worilly. She knew there was a fight in the ballroom, but she hadn't heard of a war going on. "since when was there a war?"

*Susan let the water go and turned to face the girl, staring at her with the eye of her mask* "Are you trying to be funny or are you just plain stupid?" *She began to approach the girl slowly* "The Elemental war, you twit, has been going on for centuries. Have you been so blind as not to see it?!"

Fifer frowned "well I've never heard of an elemental war, excuse me. But I'm not a twit, this place doesn't exactly look like a war zone" fifer countered, a but rudely. She really hadn't heard of an elemental war, and she didn't like the thought of it

"You are a blind fool!" *Susan pulled a large amount of water from the lake and held it in front of her, then dropped all of the pure water, holding now only a smaller, but still significant, amount of a red liquid, as well as other earthen and man-made particles that contaminated the water* "You take a look at this and tell me there's no war!"

"I can see that" fifer explained, "but there's no other signs of a war around here!" fifer desperately tried to reason with this girl as she gestured to the boardwalk, town, and perfection around them.

*Susan growled and threw the red liquid and other contaminants into the air, causing it to rain blood for a short while* "You are ignorant! Your lack of knowledge is appalling! Just what kind of Elementalist do you think you are?!"

Fifer winced as the things rained from the sky "I think I'm an earth one!" she yelled exasperatedly "are you really going to tell me that there's a huge war going on here!? Cause this is the only area I've even been around other elementalists!!!"

"Not only are you a fool, but you're also an enemy!" *Susan pulled a massive amount of water out from the lake and sent it crashing onto the girl and the rest of the dock* "You're an incolent fool! And you shall pay for your ignorance!"

Fifer saw the wall of water coming at her, and she squinted her eyes shut. Next thing she knew she was knocked into the river ((is it a river? Not sure)). "are you crazy?! How am I an enemy?!" screamed the soaked fifer, feeling hopeless and scared with this crazy girl standing over her as she treaded water to stay afloat.

(( I think it's a pond, but she says it's so large that it could be mistaken for the ocean so I'm just calling it a lake. ))
*Susan walked over to the edge of the dock* "You're in my domain, now." *She lifted up the water on all sides of the girl and sent them crashing down on her*
(( I'm not going to kill or badly maim her; I was going to tell her to flee after a little bit, so don't get mad or discouraged. I'm just drawing out a bit; partly because I don't have anyone else to RP with right now. XD Sorry. :| ))
