check out Sydney Landon's Danvers Novels, there are 3 so far & they are really good. The female characters are the ones that are somewhat funny in these books.

Try From Fame to Shame! Not as adult as PFK, but it's funny and sweet! It's about a country bumpkin trading places with her celebrity twin and having to live her life without too much tabloid drama. Only, her sisters neighbor just happens to be her long-time celebrity crush, and her sister's ex. She can't seem to ever completely avoid the guy and his charming ways. Or his breakfast cooking skills ;) Kind of a short read, but one of my favorites!

OMG! I read this based on your post. I read all 3 books in this series, and I must say I have never read a book that has made me laugh so hard in my life! I have recommended this series to everyone I know who doesn't have a stick shoved up their asses lol.
