Elementals [Advanced RP] discussion

Even if you don't know how to make a sword, a lot of Fire Elementals like this place simply because of the heat.

Seth walks in, carrying a bag of iron and the design for a new sword. The second he stepped through the door, he felt a wave of heat, it was like walking into a wall. Other than the fact that it was in the fire division, he could understand how a water elemental would hate the place. He decided he would make a sword for each element, maybe if each division presented the other with a sword, it would stop the fighting... maybe.

Seth dipped the newly forged sword into a bucket of water, then pulled it out quickly, watching the previously red-hot blade cool off in seconds. He set to work oxidizing the sword to turn it green. He headed back to his room with the still cooling blade to design the other 3 swords.

Adena walks in to the forge and emediately feels relief of the heat against her skin. She spotted a boy making a very unique green sword. She could tell he was fire too. No other element could stand this heat. "Intresting sword? Definately not one suited for a fire elemental?" she asked him curiously but not letting her curiosity get the better of her. She knew to be more hostile and trust no one.

Seth turns around and sees the girl that was asking him about the sword. He figured he could trust her with his plan. "Well, you know how the four divisions are always fighting? I figured that if eache division gave its opposite a gift, we could make peace. This sword will go to the air division, to give to earth. Actually, I have the plans for the sword that water will give our elders, but I need some help making it. Would you mind?" Seth asked, talking way too fast.

Adena liked this boy. He was fire and still being kind. It felt like something she herself would do. Adena knew she had a hard looking ouside but her inside was soft and she liked it that way. "Of course I'll help! I make my own swords usually so I'm not completely blind about this. What would you like me to do?" she said. "Also my name is Adena. What's yours?"

"I'm Seth." He responded, getting nervous. He hated how he always got shy around girls. "oh, and here are the designs." He added, handing her a piece of paper.

"Ok. Have you ever heard of the four swords of power? Excalibur, Clarent, Joyeuse, and Durendal.?" she got started heating the iron for the sword. Occasionally running her hands through the fire. She could tell Seth was uncomfortable. Adena didn't want him to be. She decided she would losses her stone demeanor.

"I have heard of them, but I have no idea where they might be" Seth answered. "I think it would be fun to try and figure out where they are hidden, do you want to come to the bookstore with me and do some research?" He asked.

"Of course! All I know is the Excalibur is Water or Ice, Clarent is Fire, Joyeuse is Earth, and Durendal is Air. I know they have something to do with the Yggdrasil tree. That's it. Hey can you help me with the designs on this one? I want to do like flames but art really isnt my thing?" she smiled at him.

"I'm not very good at art either, but I can try." He said, blushing. He wasn't sure if it was just the heat making him blush or something else...

She watched him skillfully making the designs on the sword. They were beautiful. Then her eyes turned to him. His deep green eyes made him look wise. He was muscular and tall. She could feel that he had much knowledge. Just like her. He was very handsome and she hoped that they would get to know each other better in the future. Adena was very excited for their upcoming excursion to the book store to research. "Wow", she exclaimed as he was done. "This is amazing. You have a talent" she smiled at his stunned face. "Hmmm I wonder if my parents wrote anything on the swords. I will check later" she said. Just then she realized that she had just spoke of her parents. Her face went white as a sheet and her eyes grew big.

"Meet me at the bookstore later today, I'm going to my room to design the othe two swords. Also, fire elementals aren't welcome at the bookstore, for obvious reasons, so dress like an Earth." Seth said, still carving flames into the sword. He smiled at her as he finished, then left the forge.

"Goodbye Seth!", she calls after him.
