Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group discussion

Which first meetings in romance books you've read have stayed in your mind out of the many books you've read? If you remember, briefly describe how they meet.

I loved the meeting in Prince Charming by Julie Garwood. The meeting in the ballroom. The hero walks in and causes quite a stir and then goes straight to the heroine. Sigh.

Loved Julie Garwood's Ransom had a good meet scene too. He has come to see this woman who claims to be his bride. hehe. Actually I like all of Ms Garwood's meeting scenes.

One of my favourites (and one of the few I remember distinctly) is in Lord of Scoundrels. The antiques shop, the mutual stunning, the combination of funny and hot.

I was going to say the same thing about Lord of Scoundrels, Cecelia. Great minds!

Pamela, I think The Prize has a good H/h meeting scene. And also in Honor's Splendour when she kept his feet warm.

Murder Game has an interesting first meeting. Kadan comes upon Tansy in the buff. Hard to forget that one.

I thought Dark Hunger was pretty intense. Juliette goes into a lab to free animals and finds a tortured & chained Riordan.

Also liked the one in Dark Curse where Nicolas is so far gone to becoming a vamp that he actually moves to bite Lara and she stabs him instead.

Acheron was different. Acheron sits into a lecture given by Tory and completely rips into her theory of Atlantis. Both have a very bad first impression of each other.

The Dark Hunger one was good too Kryptonite - I forgot about that one.

I thought the first meeting between Sam and Thorn/Azami in was very well-done. They both got a special vibe on each other. They weren't sure if they would be enemies, but were attracted to each other.
