Personality: Auralee is a shy girl. She doesn’t like to talk. If she could pick, she would choose not to speak at all. Her speed and agility is at top notch, though, and her aim and reflexes are wicked fast. Her ego is small, so she denies it, but she can take on just about anything. If only she had the courage to try. She personally doesn’t think she belongs here.

History: There isn’t much to say. Her parents both died when she was 4, and she’s been living in a foster home. All her life she’s been doing bad things. It’s not her fault that now people decided to do something about it.

Powers: She can control water, including the weather. But she can’t control her power yet, and high emotions tend to trigger them. She can only do simple things.

Problems: She has anxiety disorder. She is always talking fast, messing with her hands, and saying weird things. She can’t help it. When surrounded by lots of people, she sometimes gets panic attacks.

Story: All her life she’s been being a naughty girl. She steals, manipulates, and let’s just say she’s not a virgin. But nobody knows she only did it all to seem normal. One day she was feeling really down, and a massive storm hit her town. The foster kids and workers at her local foster home blamed everything on her. They thought that getting rid of her would be good anyway, since she was such a bad seed.

Personality: Lucy is personality is hidden deep under layers of insanity that have swallowed her up over the years and left a faint shell of the girl she could have been. Between dwindling lucid moments, she's a mass of fears and chaotic thoughts. When she does come out of her shell, the hints of her intelligence and determination become more relevant. She wants, above all, to be cured. Years of seclusion and damnation have impressed a hatred of herself deep into her mind. Lucy hates nothing more than the thing that she is.

Kin: Lucy has a mother and a father, Renee and Scott Spencer. Scott is a successful businessman, rising in his company. Renee is a stay at home mother who attends every town Women's Club meeting and hosts dinners and parties weekly. They were the unsuspecting socialites subject to Lucy and her curse. She had a brother too, Henry. He was younger by six years. He was perfect.

Power: Lucy has the ability to experience and share minute premonitions through immediate contact with another being. These foresights center around the moment of death of the subject in question. Direct skin on skin contact is required for a premonition to take place, which will continue as long as contact is maintained. Not only is she forced to visualize the death of the supplementary participant, she also experiences the sensations of said person upon their deathbed. These visions are also experienced by the vessel, and are compulsory upon any contact with skin, except in the case of her own demise, of which she can see none.

History: Lucy had a normal birth, which was to be expected for her perfectly normal parents. It wasn't until she was around three years old that things were set in motion. After 36 months, her brain was developed enough to begin processing her premonitions. They were subtle at first, just the things of nightmares, but in the time between her third and fifth birthdays, they progressed to full scale. The visions and pain were confusing to the small child, and when they got out of control it was too much for her to handle. She would try to people's deaths with them, but she would get shunned in return. What was worse was when her visions started to come true. Suddenly her touch was doom to all who neared her. Her parents tried to hide her to maintain their popular view, but it was what finally broke her. Every one hated her. She had become not only the harbinger of bad tidings but death itself in the eyes of the people, and worse, her family. That's when the incident happened. There was no going back after that fateful moment. There were court cases and police files, tears and shame. She plead insane and was released into medical care. There was electroshock therapy and incisions and tests and needles, and she went from hospital to hospital until the government turned to The Unknown Asylum.

Problems: Lucy exhibits many common symptoms related to schizophrenic insanity and early onset dementia. She is often subject to bouts of persecutory, grandiose and sometimes somatic delusions, loss of memory, inability to control her emotions, detachment, and hallucinations. These disorders are largely as a result of the trauma placed upon her body after countless early experiences with premonitions and the inability to connect with a parental figure.

Story: She was thirteen years old when it happened. The one terrible moment that changed every day of her life since. Her brother was seven and his high pitched voice taunted her. That sound prickled at something in the back of her mind, pulled at some dark energy playing parasite on her consciousness. His words were daggers in her flesh, "Freak," "Psycho," "Dangerous," "Evil." The soundtrack of her miserable life. It was too easy to reach out, feel her fingers on the fragile skin of his arms and feel his death rush into her veins, clog her mind with a red hot chaos. A jolt and she could feel his fear, taste the terrified apprehension and see his demise, except that what she saw was no different than her current reality. She was there, holding his shoulders and he was there looking up at her, and the stairs were right behind him and she could see herself giving him a push. The moment her fingers lost hold of him, she was aware of his small body toppling down the hard wood steps. Then he was at the bottom and covered in blood and oh so dead. It was the first time the death she saw was of her own initiation, and it terrified her, except that that wasn't all she felt. It also thrilled her. She ran to his body at the bottom of the stairs and his blood stained her hands red.
It wasn't until two years later that she was placed into The Unknown Asylum, having previously been transferred between numerous mental hospitals.

History:Terra's mother died from childbirth so Terra had to live with only her dad.Her dad couldn't handle the pressure of raising to kids and he commited suicide from the unbearable pressure.Terra was the youngest out of her and her sister.Her sister never paid any attention to Terra and she was forced to raise herself and find a home where she belonged.She was put in a orphanage where they beat and bruised her.She was finally adopted by a family until they got into a 'fight' and gunshots were fired.She was adopted into another family where she has lived ever since.They both work all the time so she almost never sees them.

Powers: A Siren can take different forms to lure compels people of the opposite sex to destroy themselves as a show of devotion, or to their death. Sirens are creatures that have two forms, like many other creatures, to be able to deceive typical humans. Through physical contact, they can infect people with some sort of "essence", which is composed by oxytosin, a hormone that is produced during childbirth, lactation, and sex, and called the "love hormone". Victims show a high level of oxytosin amount on their blood. After being infected, humans desperately depends on the siren and would do anything, as if they were controlled by it. The victim will only want the siren's current form and do what it desires as a show of devotion - if the siren wants its victims to kill someone, they will do it. However, the effect of the "essence" does not last too much, as the victim can recover complete consciousness of their acts after hours of being infected.

Story:Terra was 14 when the incident happened. Tessa once tried to commit suicide by jumping out of a window.She failed and was caught in the act by a passerby.The passerby called the poilce and took her to a mental hospital being transfered many times between different hospitals.Terra was finally place into the Unknown Asylum after none of the others workd to help.

Lucy's pretty much being ignored too. I know her character might be hard to RP with, so I understand why no one's taken any interest. Still, it would be cool if anyone who's not doing anything at the moment could give it a shot. Don't feel obliged, though. Story: she had a massive breakdown when her friend and grandmother died. She tried to drown herself but was pulled out of the water and sent to a mental hospital. When she tried to kill herself again she was sent here.

History: She can’t remember anything that happened before the incident with Todd.

Personality: She used to be outgoing, funny and just fun to be around. Until she started dating Todd, She became depressed, and self-loathing. She is now afraid to be by anyone. If anyone gets to close she freaks out. There is only one person that she lets close to her and that's Stefan, the man that saved her from Todd. Kanika is hard to talk to at times, you just have to get to know her, and she needs to learn that she can trust you.

Powers: Can shape shift into any living thing. To any animal or person.

Problems: When ever something bad happens and she involved (whether it’s her fault or not) she feels that she has to be punished, so she cuts or does other self harming thing to herself. Amnesia

Story: An abusive boyfriend that she had been dating for two years purposely got them "lost" in a snow storm. The storm was just a cover though, because he had to punish her. He thought that she was cheating on him. (she wasn't) He was driving a van and pulled over to the side of the road. He told her to get out of the car and come over to side of the car by the ditch. She did as she was told, just like she always did. Her boyfriend (Todd) got out of the car and pushed her to the ground. He sat on top of her and yelled "You stupid whore you think I wouldn't find out" while her was hitting her in the face. He continued to yell things at her like she was useless, fat and ugly. Just being a total ass. He got up and started kicking her while screaming the same things. While he was doing that a car pulled up next to his and a man got out. He didn't know what was going on he just wondered if they needed help. When he saw what was going on he pulled Todd away from Kanika. Todd turned toward the man furious, he attacked the man. While Todd and the man fought Kanika rolled up into a ball, laying in the snow, with only a thin coat on, and cried. She was mumbling incoherently. When the man over powers Todd goes over to Kanika to see if she is okay. when he gets to close so flinched and started mumbling louder. The man said that his Name was Stefan and that it's okay and that he just wants to help. Kanika looks up and stops mumbling for a second. The man then takes her to his car, and takes her to the hospital. The whole way there Kanika was rocking back and forth mumbling incoherently. When he got to the hospital he took her inside and never left her side. (unless had to because of hospital rules)

History: He was forced to watch them get killed and, he felt so helpless after that, he swore that he wouldn’t let anything happen to some he cared about again. Though he hasn’t let himself get close to anyone one, because he fears that he will loss them.

Kin: Parents brutally murdered when only thirteen. He has a brother Nikolai.

Powers: Super strong, can run faster then the average person. When angry will change to wolf form.

Problems: Easily angered. Over protective. Can’t control himself when really angry (as in turn to wolf). Only Kanika can calm him down. (if she nit there or something or you know before he meet her, he would just calm down after a while naturally)

Story: He was the one to bring Kanika to the hospital, and seeing her getting bet brought back all of the memories of his parents getting killed. So he kind be came a little over protective of her, so when they sent her here he had to go with. Though whether or not she got sent here he would have,

Personality: Aggressive but caring. He can be nice when her wants to be but if he is in a bad mood just don’t bother him. When he is in a good mode he is easy going and funny. If you have is back he will have yours. He is very trustworthy, his word means everything to him. He is also very loyal, which is a lot like trustworthy yes but he will be loyal to someone that he cares about no matter what. He knows right from wrong he just doesn't always choose to do the right thing (unless involves someone loyal to or gave word to)

History: same as Stefan’s but instead of swearing that he’ll never let anyone that he cared about get hurt/killed again. He swore that he would find and kill the people who killed his parents.

Kin: Parents are dead. He has a brother Stefan.

Powers: Easily angered. Over protective. Can’t control himself when really angry (as in turn to wolf).

Story: He was out trying to find the people who killed his parents. He almost had them to, but when he went to confront them, he was ambushed and sent to The Unknown Asylum.

History: Elizabeth was tortured for years by a person who had kidnapped her at infancy. When she was 11, Elizabeth cut of her kinappers head with a fire poker and set fire to his house. She set several fires after before she was caught and transferred to several asylums, all of which she set small fires to. She was finnally transferred to the only asylum that would take her. The unknown asylum.

Kin: Has a brother who took care of her before her kidnapping. She never knew her own identity so she could not find her brother.


Problems:Skitzophrnia, OCD, split personality disorder, pyromanic, suffers from paranoia

Story:Killed 7 people, set over 14 fires.

Other: She discovered the ability to gain compleate control of a persons mind with one touch of her hand. After accedentaly torturing 3 people she poured battery acid all over her hands leaving them scarred.

Personality: she is nice and caring. She can sometimes be easily be angered, but not very often. She is always joking around, though she can be serious when she needs to be.

History: It all started when she was 18. That was when she started to come into her powers. It started out with her just seeing things, things that shouldn't be there. She later found out those things where ghosts. Then she started having strange dreams about people she knows. Then the next day what happened in her dream would actually happen. Sometimes she would dream about people she didn't know and then she'd hear about it on the news. She was really starting to freak out and that was just the beginning. So when she started making things happen or just appearing just by thinking of them or when ever she randomly rhymed she really freaked out.

Family: Mom and Dad

Problems: Is really paranoid, whenever she has one of her visions she is extremely paranoid and jumpy.

Story: After she came into her powers, she became really paranoid and jumpy, some people even say crazed. She parents sent her to the asylum when Lada tried to convince them that she could see the future and see ghost. They didn’t believe her so they sent her to the asylum.

Personality: Raven is rather quiet, but her piercing eyes speak for her. She is intense, and when she does speak it is often poetic. She is very intelligent and alert. She notices things most others don't. She is a bit gloomy, and rarely initiates a conversation.

History:(Must include) Raven was created in a secretive lab. It was known by many names, but most simply called it Rev. Where the name began remains a mystery, but it has stuck for years and will continue to do so for many more. When Raven was made, Rev was in its early stages (around a year or two into existence). They were at the bottom to begin with, but managed to keep going downhill. Raven was their first success, one that sparked many more. If you could call them successes at all. Most of the experiments rendered those (who would normally lead a healthy and normal life) deformed, and therefore exiled. Raven herself has dark feathers growing from her shoulder blades and trickling down her sides. In the beginning of her life, Raven was put through experiments that tested her supernatural abilities. She was kept in a locked cell with very little food. She was always referred to as 0992. She was a number. She wasn't a person. She was alone. Until a lion-human hybrid called 0987 scraped a hole in the wall leading to her cell. They spoke long hours into the night, and he came to call her Raven, while she called him King. Eventually they fell for one another, but were never permitted to see each other. Instead, they reached through the small hole, just to comfort each other in their own small way. After six months - the best of Raven's life - their secret was unveiled. The hole was discovered, and King took the blame, even though Raven tried to. King was shot in the head in front of Raven. She was beaten daily, almost as if they wanted to beat King out of her. But they never could. It was then, after seeing and experiencing trials no 15 year old should have to endure, that she plotted to run away. And run she did. She had her plan, her perfect plan. It would have worked too. But fate works in funny ways sometimes. If she had never met King, she never would have run away in the first place. She never would have had the nerve. If she had never met King, he never would have died. If she had never met King, she wouldn't witness them carting his body out to a ditch and tossing it in amongst countless others. If she hadn't met King, the stench would never have touched her nose, and the rotting corpses would never be imprinted in her mind. If she hadn't met King, the white coats never would have turned around and saw her watching. But she did meet King. And so all of this happened. So instead of risking trouble, the white coats sent her to the Unknown Asylum. And now here she is.

Personality: She is usually nice and caring, unless she is having one of her episodes. One minute she may be acting like a perfectly normal girl and then the next she full on crazy chick. Though a lot of the time she fights her craziness and tries to be normal. It just doesn't always work.

Though even with all Catia's issues and problems she is still a very nice and caring person. She is outgoing and fun to be around once you get to know her. Though it may take a while for her to trust you because she has trust issues as well. After everything that happened to her, it's hard for her to let people in, to make friends, but even with all that she is still awesome.
History: About two years ago Catia was forced to watch her parents and her five siblings get brutally murdered. One by one they were all killed, in a slow and painful way, and Catia had to watch it all. Her Family was killed by some sick kids in her high school, Catia had done something to make them mad so in return they killed her family in the worse possible way and made her watch it. The worst part is that the kids that killed her family never got caught they had disappeared with out a trace after wards.

A 50 year old man may think he’s a 6 year old girl, and spend his time playing with dolls and wearing dresses. This disorder has also had a lot of media coverage but is very misunderstood. Individuals with this disorder rarely take on more than three identities, and it’s almost impossible to make them aware that they have it. ~Personality one: Her main one being the one that she was born with. Though it now has a few other disorders added on to it. She almost never switches from this personality.
~Personality two: This one is her second most active one, and it is a rebellious teen age girl name Kelly. Will learn more about along the way.
~Personality Three: This one is her third most active one, and it is a man in his early twenties named Tom. Tom is a mean, homicidal man who cares about no one. Will learn more about along the way.
Story: While she was out in about one of her other personalities kicked in. This rarely ever happens and she only has two other personalities, other then her real one that is. So Catia has three different personalities, her main one being the one that she was born with, with a few other disorders added on to it. It was her third personality that took over, the homicidal man named Tom. While Catia was in this personality she tried to kill someone and the police caught her she told them that she was a man in her twenties named Tom. Which they could obviously see was not true. So the did some digging and saw that she had all these disorders and decided that she should be sent here.

Other: It was her mothers. After the kids who killed her family left. Catia, who was already traumatized and pretty much already crazy, crawled over to her mother’s bloody and unrecognizable body and took the necklace off of her. She then got up and went to the kitchen, where she then washed the blood off of the necklace, humming as she did. As she did all this tears were streaming down her face, but by the way Catia was acting you wouldn’t know it. Once Catia got done washing the blood off of the necklace she put it on and then she finally proceeded in calling the police. She was completely hysterical when the police arrived at the house.

Personality: First off, if you call her Vi she will punch you in the nose. Second, she has major people issues. Seriously. Not even her parents could get close to her without Violet having a panic attack. She also has emotional issues, she bottles them up until well she explodes in a fit of (some extreme emotion here). She draws or talks to herself to relieve stress and get some human(ish) contact. Also she's a loner and can 'talk' to people, but if they come too close she goes into panic attack mode. Violet's panic attacks include her curling up in a ball and covering her eyes screaming: Get away from me! Please! Go away back to hell! When she talks to herself, it's only to have a real conversation. As well as having a 'friend'. ( 'Talking' is including greetings and some jokes. A light chat and knowing names and ages. Past that is beyond her limit. She's even stretching the limit of being comfortable).

History:(Must include) When she was young Violet was often bullied in the schoolyard. People punched, poked, kicked, and even broke her. After elementary school she was taken away and experimented on. Violet still doesn't know what for. But ever since, she cringed at anyone's attempt to hug her or touch her. She even tries to avoid as much human contact as one can do. Her parent's thought she had a major issue and called many doctors.

Personality: He could be imaginative and creative. He could be quick and smart. Funny and kind. He is kinda dead inside. Eli has absolutely no emotions now. No fear, no worry, and no love. He's cold and logical. Filled with binary codes and well, logic.

History: Eli was born and made of partial stem cells. The stem cells took the shape of a human body and function of a human body, but his hair and skin kept changing color. From whites, to black, purple, and reds. Many doctors thought it was puzzling and took him for speculation and experimentation (ish). He doesn't remember much of it, but Eli does remember being taken here after everything.

The subject changes skin colors every five minutes in a random pattern. Not just brown, tan, and pale. All the colors of the rainbow. Even the tiny hairs on the subject's head changes different colors every few seconds. Every doctor that has taken a small sample of DNA has shown it is not quite developed nor is complete with all 43 chromosomes. Personality: Being a nymph, Susy can be a little vain. She loves nature. She also loves the cold. She nice and caring and very smart. She isn't violent at all; she absolutely detests violence. She isn't particularly brave but she's very compassionate and tries to get the other "patients" out of as much pain as possible, sometimes offering herself in place of them because she heals faster than them and has immunity to their experiments although they hurt.

History: Susy lived on Mount Susitna in Alaska for hundreds of years (nymphs are immortal). She had a happy life with the other nymphs and kept away from any humans who came up there. She was engaged.

Problems: She hurts always and is left in a weakened state because she is separated from her mountain. She can't die because nymphs are immortal unless her mountain is destroyed which won't happen. Sometimes she goes a little funny in the head and little earthquakes start happening that she can' control and they have to fly her over Mt. Susitna to calm her down.

Story: She and the other nymphs kept hidden from humans but one day, through a series of horribly unfortunate event, one of the "doctors" was climbing there and caught her and brought her to the Unknown Asylum to experiment on her, saying that he'd found her alone on the mountain and that she'd tried to attack him, even clawing himself to make it look real. They experiment on her blood and such, trying to see what a nymph is made of and what qualities they have.

Crush: a satyr named Ash, they were finally engaged but she'll probably never see him again and this makes her very sad

Other: They sell her blood as "elixir" and her hair too which grows back instantly but when they take her blood, she is left pale, weak, and shaking. She heals quickly when they cut her open and her body rejects anything they inject her with but it causes her intense agony. Once or twice though she has gathered up enough strength to cause minor earthquakes at the asylum but that's about it and she sometimes puts herself into a coma when they experiment on her. She is very pretty (like all nymphs) so one time they sold her to a guy for a night (you can guess why) but the guy mysteriously died that day when a boulder fell on him.

Susy has been here longer than just about anyone. She tried to escape after 2 years here and has been locked up in a "special" dorm by herself. The only reason they didn't kill her was because they couldn't find another nymph. She has just now been allowed to go back to the regular dorms.

History: She was just raised by her mom because her father dyed before she was born. She lived with her mom, but she pretty much had to raise herself. Her mom went of the edge when Cassie's father died. She started taking drugs and getting drunk all the time.

Cassie was five years old when a man tried to rob there house. The guy had beat and sexually assaulted her mother. After that Cassie's mom was even less of a mother and even more of a druggy. Cassie had to learn to take care of herself and her mom. Cassie had a lot to get through first though, the robbery had traumatized her as well. So after that day Cassie vowed that it would never happen again. That she would learn how to take care of her self physically and mentally. So she started working out every day and by the time she was in fifth grade, she was stronger and faster then everyone in her class. It stayed that way to all through her school years. She doesn't really look like she can kick your ass without barely trying, but she can. She is very strong, but doesn't look like she's strong at all, and very fast.

Max grew up with a very abusive father. He never met his mother, but his dad told him crazy stories about her. When he was seven, the government came in and took him away from his dad. Life didn't get much better after that because he was jut in one abusive foster home to the next, and it never really ended. He has tried to kill himself many times, and almost succeeded a lot. The last time, they decided to send him here.

Personality: Oriole is kind hearted and accepting of others and a little shy at first. She laughs a lot- she has a weird sense of humor- and she likes to talk. When headaches hit, she can be cranky and won’t talk very much. When she makes a decision, she normally never changes it, she is very stubborn and determined to do things her own way. She likes to be unique. Also, she likes to take risks, she is very curious and likes to go exploring. She loves heights, has an active imagination and likes art.
History: Oriole’s parents died when a train was derailed traveling to their home from her fathers parents home. Oriole had stayed at home with their neighbours, she was only four. When the neighbours heard about the train crash, they knew that her parents were on it and when the report came a day later that no one survived they had to send Oriole to an orphanage because they did not want to raise a child (although they did like her). Soon though, Oriole was adopted and raised in a kind household.

Powers: She can travel back in time through pictures and through memories. She needs to concentrate on the picture and then she can travel into the picture- the whole time frame and area and even talk to the people in the picture (if there are any)- but, she grows weaker as time passes and when she pulls herself out of the picture she falls unconscious for the amount of time spent in the picture.
Problems: the falling unconscious stuff and severe headaches
Story: A year after she had found out that her parents died, she began to get severe headaches. Her adoptive parents were concerned, of course, so they took her to the doctors and they claimed it was just migraines. The things Oriole had brought with her from her old life were some photos of her family and picture books that her parents would always read. Occasionally she would look at the photos and feel a strong flashback of the moment. As she grew older, the flashbacks would feel stronger, more insistent and she would feel like she really was there. Then, another time she found she was in the picture and there were her parents. Eventually she found herself pulling back from the picture, from the scene, the memory. She saw a glimpse of her room in her adoptive family’s house before falling off her chair and everything went black. After this first incident when she woke up, she was understandably confused. This happened a few other times before she woke up in the hospital after her adoptive parents found her unconscious. When she returned home, the doctors having no reasonable explanations for it except the “migraines,” her imagination went wild thinking up excuses like magic which is pretty much true. The same thing worked with the drawings in her picture books. She practiced her power but her parents found her unconscious a few more times until a doctor suggested Oriole be put into an asylum and the doctor sent her here.
