Writing Mania discussion

I thought that once this folder gets up and running properly, we should have a place to put all our characters. Please include your character's name, which thread they'll be played on, species (for more supernatural threads), and any other helpful character information.

Name: Alex

Roleplay: Mysterious Benedict Society
Appearance: Golden brown-blonde locks often wither in a ponytail or clipped back. Short bangs, with ocean-blue eyes and a slight tan. About half a foot or so shorter than average.
Background: Orphaned at four years old. Grew up at Stonetown Orphanage, but never knew Reynie closely, though she did see him around.
Personality: Bright and lively. Very outgoing, but not to the extreme Kate is. Something of a blend between Constance and Reynie, where she can solve mazes, puzzles, and most riddles in seconds (though not quite as fast as Reynie can), Also something of an athlete, but not like Kate is.

Personality: She used to be outgoing, funny and just fun to be around. Until she started dating Todd, She became depressed, and self-loathing. She is now afraid to be by anyone. If anyone gets to close she freaks out. There is only one person that she lets close to her and that's Stefan, the man that saved her from Todd. Kanika is hard to talk to at times, you just have to get to know her, and she needs to learn that she can trust you.

Kin: none (that she knows of)

History: An abusive boyfriend that she had been dating for two years purposely got them "lost" in a snow storm. The storm was just a cover though, because he had to punish her. He thought that she was cheating on him. (she wasn't) He was driving a van and pulled over to the side of the road. He told her to get out of the car and come over to side of the car by the ditch. She did as she was told, just like she always did. Her boyfriend (Todd) got out of the car and pushed her to the ground. He sat on top of her and yelled "You stupid whore you think I wouldn't find out" while her was hitting her in the face. He continued to yell things at her like she was useless, fat and ugly. Just being a total ass. He got up and started kicking her while screaming the same things. While he was doing that a car pulled up next to his and a man got out. He didn't know what was going on he just wondered if they needed help. When he saw what was going on he pulled Todd away from Kanika. Todd turned toward the man furious, he attacked the man. While Todd and the man fought Kanika rolled up into a ball, laying in the snow, with only a thin coat on, and cried. She was mumbling incoherently. When the man over powers Todd goes over to Kanika to see if she is okay. when he gets to close so flinched and started mumbling louder. The man said that his Name was Stefan and that it's okay and that he just wants to help. Kanika looks up and stops mumbling for a second. The man then takes her to his car, and takes her to the hospital. The whole way there Kanika was rocking back and forth mumbling incoherently. When he got to the hospital he took her inside and never left her side. (unless had to because of hospital rules)

She has had this locket for as long as she can remember. She is always wearing it. She only takes it off to take a shower.

History: He was forced to watch his parebts get killed and, he felt so helpless after that, he swore that he wouldn’t let anything happen to some he cared about again. Though he hasn’t let himself get close to anyone one, because he fears that he will loss them.

Personality: Protective, Kind, funny, Easily angered, caring.

Kin: Parents brutally murdered when only thirteen. He has a brother Nikolai.

Crush: Kanika (though he doesn’t understand his feelings for her yet,, and he is very protective of her)

Other:

This a ring that he has had since he was thirteen. (It just recently started wearing it cause it didn’t fit before) The had belong to his father, and it is the only thing Stefan has to remind him of his father

Personality: Aggressive but caring. He can be nice when her wants to be but if he is in a bad mood just don’t bother him. When he is in a good mode he is easy going and funny. If you have is back he will have yours. He is very trustworthy, his word means everything to him. He is also very loyal, which is a lot like trustworthy yes but he will be loyal to someone that he cares about no matter what. He knows right from wrong he just doesn't always choose to do the right thing (unless involves someone loyal to or gave word to)

History: same as Stefan’s but instead of swearing that he’ll never let anyone that he cared about get hurt/killed again. He swore that he would find and kill the people who killed his parents.

Kin: Parents are dead. He has a brother Stefan.

This necklace belong to his mom. He never takes it off. It means a lot to him.

Personality: Fun, outgoing, funny, snoopy (likes to act like an investigator and figure things out), caring, nice but easily angered.

Kin: None that she knows of. (Has brother Mikhail)

History: Doesn’t know biological parents. She has been moved to foster family to faster family. No one wants a kid that’s different and Taneya is an element user, she can control fire. She came in to her powers at thirteen, just after puberty. She hasn’t stayed in one place for more then a week after that. When she turned eighteen she left the orphanage went to college.

Story: Taneya likes to Sleuth, and she soon found out that the government was making people disappear. People who talk openly about something weird like, werewolves and vampires really do exist, and the next day they are no where to be found. So Taneya did some investigating, she didn’t find anything so she decided to go to the source. She didn’t know exactly where that was so she choose to go to a place known as Area 51. She snuck into Area 51, just barely making it past the guards. She was looking through documents when they found her the caught her.

Was wearing when she was left on the door step or the orphanage. She has worn it ever since. She doesn’t know whose it was just that it must have belonged to her biological.

Appearance: Ash has long dirty blonde hair, dark blue eyes, she stands at 5'0, she has olive colored skin.

Personality: Ash is a bit shy, but she can have an attitude if she know's you're in the wrong, or you mess with one of her friends.
History: Ash comes from a close knit family, they always had each other's backs. Her two brothers were usually the center of attention, so Ash hung in the background and concentrated on her artwork instead. Her parents didn't like the way things were headed with her and decided to 'push' her into something that would make her get out there. They sent her to a boarding school.
Place of Residency: Used to be a flat in London, now it's her new boarding school year round. Her parents don't want her coming home, they told her they would visit her.
Skills: Great with art.
Other: She loves to read books, if she isn't sketching she's usually reading.

Name: Terri Cane or Prof. Cane to her students

Age: 32

Gender: Female

Appearance: Short black hair, keen green eyes, she stands at 5'5, and usually wears a sweater and a skirt.


Place of Residency: When not at the boarding school, Tuscany.

Other: She teaches Art, and lives in the girls dorms to supervise them.

Thread: Shonungun Boarding School
Appearance: Long, curly red hair, olive green eyes. Freckled nose and arms. Slightly tanned skin.
Background: Gerti has an accomplished past in the education of neuroscience, and hopes to get a PhD in medics when she's older. She's also advanced in chemistry, arithmetic, anatomy, physics, astronomy, geoscience, and even botany. Neuroscience is still her primary focus, though.
Notes+Personality: Female, age 14. Typically very sophisticated and mature. Tries not to show off, but sometimes can't help it. Not comfortable in large groups, but when she does make the occasional friend, she becomes very attached and will do anything for them.

Appearance: Dark hair scissored into a crew cut, blue eyes, stands 5'6, usually wears band shirts, jeans, and skater shoes.
History: Jace lives with his parents and twin brother in Tuscany. He went to school there until age 13, then started attending the school his mom Terri taught at. His dad works in advertising and is usually traveling on business except on holidays so him and his twin being at the boarding school with their mom isn't a big deal to the family.
Place of Residency: Tuscany when not in school.
Skills: Plays electric guitar, is very good at math and history.
Other: Jace likes to rock out, but he also is a little of a geek. Not that he'd ever admit it, sometimes he goes off on his own and reads different books on history, fiction and nonfiction.

Age: 14
Year: 3
Gender: Male
Appearance: Looks just like Jace, just a little fuller in the face. He prefers to wear polos and khaki's instead of Jace's style of band shirts and jeans.
History: Same as Jace's pretty much. Except he fully admits he's a geek. He hopes to major in law once he gets into college. His head is usually in books, he skipped a year because he took summer classes of all major subjects.
Place of Residency: Tuscany when not at school.
Skills: Can bake, though not many know it. Know's how to proofread, even has a certificate proving it. Know's birds, trees, and flowers like its nobodies business.
Other: Even though he has a twin he is the complete opposite of him. Jace listens to rock while Jade listens to indie bands and the classics.

Wavy auburn hair, hazel eyes. 5'4".

History: Her parents are rich and young. Her mother was 22 when she had Lana. She was kind of a "mistake", used more for publicity and social aspects than because her parents wanted a child. At the age of 2 it was discovered that she is mute, which made her just all the more of a disgrace to her parents. She was raised by various nannies and nurses and taught by a set of tutors until she became bored with the skill level. Her parents were happy to get her out of their mansion.

Place of Residency: Her parents are related to the king of Genovia, and they have many homes, but their main mansion is located in said province.

Skills: Is a musical genius. She composes brilliant pieces, and plays many instruments. She essentially sees the world as a series of musical works. Is also incredibly intelligent.

Personality: Introverted, generally thoughtful, not too open or bouncy.

Appearance: Longish, curly blonde hair, grey eyes, usually wears a woolen jacket over a white button up shirt, with black pants and loafers. He looks relaxed most of the time, he does get intense every once in a while when he really gets into his teaching. He stands at 6'0.

History: He's from New York, New York. He majored in History at NYU. He is a new teacher, this will be his first year here. He completely moved his life to be near the boardingschool, his house is only twenty minutes from the school so he lives nearby instead of on campus. He teaches History and swimming.
Place of Residency: Near the boarding school in Japan.
Skills: He is a fantastic swimmer, cooks amazing eggplant parmesan.
Other: Is very friendly, he is completely stoked about teaching at the school.

Name: Leena Daniel
Age: 14
Year: 2
Gender: F
Appearance: Blonde hair, middle length, big green eyes, athletic body, usually in a tank top, shorts, and flipflops, she stands at 5'3.

History: Leena was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She was sent away to Shonungan Boarding school when her parents found her sneaking off with friends to go party. She was the bad girl in their town, she was only acting out to get some attention from her lawyer parents. They expect her to become a lawyer just like them but her real interest is in becoming a vet.
Place of Residency: Shonungan Boarding school until she graduates. Her parents want nothing to do with her.
Skills: She is very adept with animals and preparing herbal remedies for herself and friends when they're sick.
Other: Leena is friendly, gives everyone a chance. She doesn't pressure others into anything, she isn't very girly but she does enjoy a little dressing up every once in a while.

She has aspired to go to Shonungan boarding school since she was very young, a dream somewhat dampered by the fact that she cannot hear. Shelived in Germany with her mother until she was 10, then went to an orphanage when her mother died in a car crash.
Place of Residence: Shonungan Boarding School, even on break. She works as hard as she possibly can.
Skills: She speaks sign language and can lip-read French, German, Portugese, and whatever language they speak at Shonungan.
