In The Studio
Alisha lay hunched over her desk in the studio. Random materials lay about, and she threads a thin wire through one of her latest pieces. "God, I hate wire.." she comments just as she pokes herself with the end of it. "It hates me too apparently..." she adds, getting up to get yet another band-aid to cover her bleeding fingers.
"Don't feel bad, watercolors aren't liking me either." Corbin calls out from across the room. He sighs and tries to wipe away the dripping pink that's running into his deep blue ocean. It smears and he curses under his breath.
"Sh*t. I'm gonna bleed out and die by the time this is done..." Alisha comments, standing again to get another band-aid.
"Two in less than a minute, that has got to be some kind of record..." Corbin teases, standing away from his work. "Well... it's not done, but I need a break. Want to go somewhere?" he asks.
Alisha glances down at her clothes, and realizes she is still in pajamas. (view spoiler)
"Want to change first? I'll wait." he sits and fiddles with his cargo pockets. (view spoiler)
Alisha sprints up the stairs and slips off her shorts. She wondered whether or not she should change her top, but decided it didn't matter really. She pulled on her cargo capris (view spoiler) and slipped on some sandals. A minute later she and Corbin were out the door, heading for the park.
