The chosen Magnus seems too old (even though Magnus is supposedly 800 years old) I have always pictured Magnus being around Alec's age 18-20

I'm just wondering, and obviously no hate, but I imagined Magnus to not be asian. and I agree with you Ruo, he is a bit old. :D

But in the story he is described to be of asian ethnicity as far as I can remember..

Yer he is of Asian decent. A lot of people have overlooked that part of him. He is described as having tanned skin, Asian decent which is his mothers side.

Not asian? One of the first things they say about him. lol. I'm glad they stayed true to that. I think Ruo is GORGEOUS! lol.

I'm pretty pleased with the rest of the casting except for Jace. Pretty disappointed there.
