Thanks! I actually bought a NEW kindle because the surgery was on my dominant shoulder and the newer kindle is smaller and lighter than my K2. A win-win!!!!

I tore the labrum (cartilage) in my shoulder. It is arthroscopic so it was pretty easy. Typing with one hand...not so much. Looking forward to physical therapy starting on Monday.

Good luck with the PT, Ann. We have a ton of fairly serious joint issues in my family, so I definitely sympathize. Good job getting a new Kindle out of the deal! :)

I have done lots of PT. Trust me, rest up after and don't do anything strenuous. My cousin is a PT therapist. I get all my advice from him. He's worked on my shoulder. The days you have try not to move it too much after but the next day do some light activity. I try to use this knowledge in my everyday life so I can put off surgery as long as possible!!! Good Luck!!!

I've done that...It all depends on the length, strength and how much I am into a story if I can read a bunch in a day. Yesterday I read 2 however one of them was incredibly long and started it the night before also
