We already have an idea why Caine went to Cotes. He was totally crazy with power
I don't know, it's too much to think about. I kind of want Michael Grant to focus more on the minor characters, and also, I know that, obviously, Sam and Diana are on the cover of Light, but, I really want some other new characters, that haven't been on any of the covers before, to be on the back.........

astrid get powers!!! does anybody remember i think it was the first book when she said she felt something when she held sams hand.i thought the author was giving us like a hint that she had diana's powers. then it was never mentioned again.

5.Caine to try and patch things up with Diana, only to be rejected. Since he so rightly deserves it.
6.Gaia (the baby girl herself,not 'The Darkness') to gain control of her body.
7.Petey to come back but not in his own body.
8.Caine to repent for all the bad things he has done.
9.Find out what happened to marys brother john!
10.FOR LIGHT TO COME OUT SOONER!I don't think I'll cope till april and I fear that I may forget whats happened in the other books.

edilio did have a love intrest..he turned out gay with the artful roger.
1. Caine and Diana get back together2. little Pete actually talks with astrid and Sam
3. dekka and orc get together
4. drake and Diana become allies
5. Caine and Sam bond
6. Albert comes back, and they reject him
7. sanjit and Quinn have some big confrontation
8. a battle that won't leave me dissapointed

OH SHIT HOW COULD I FORGET ROGER

3. Drake dies ( after being shot by, like, everyone)
4. Quinn does something awesome (although it can't get much better than punching Penny in the face and that 'this is why you suck, and here is how you can not suck' speech he gave to Caine)
5. We get more scenes with Lana and Quinn that are so sweet, even though they aren't together
6. Caine's adoptive parents show up (honestly, where the hell are they? You'd think they'd be mentioned more than once) and there are some very awkward moments with Connie
7. Diana says some very snarky things to Drake. When he tries to whip her, Gaia smashes him into a grease spot. This cycle repeats at least three times.
8. Despite all of the parents saying 'how dare you burn a baby' Sam keeps on being a badass.
9. Dekka, Breeze, Astrid, and Edilio are their wonderful selves. Also, they shoot things.
10. Just before the climax, the barrier comes down, and Gaia destroys the military base. Sam, Caine, Brianna, Dekka, Edilio, etc. come to the survivor's aid and prove their awesomeness.

i want pete and gaia to get together?? the unstoppable kids who take over the world once the fayz wall is desroyed??? Maybe.. a flash into the future to see how all the characters go after all of it finishes.. Sam needs to be more of a badass with Astrid!! Caine and Diana need to get back together, they are made for eachother!! JUST HURRY AND GET THE BOOK PUBLISHED!! I"VE BEEN WAITING FOR IT FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!! HURRY HURRY HURRY!!

personally i couldn't love drake more. he's such a loveable character. the first time he got his whip hand and started whipping kids for fun, my heart broke, i nearly cried for the pure envy of what fun he must be having.it would be nice to see him whip diana until she bleeds through her eyes( just cause i hate her) and than get his hand on astrid, just for a short time. then it's up to the protagonist to free his damsil in distrees.
then i want to see petey come back in an adult body with a sick twist on drakes unending halflife and whip, maybe have for comeing out of his back like docter octopus, plus have an extremely powerful telepathic power. if he could free gaia's body of the darknees and then destroy the darkness then have the dome fall apart- what wonderful havoc drake could wreak on the world. what kind of terrifying punishment would sam suffer after those poeple watched him intenfully torch a small inocent child.
quinn's love interest would be interesting to see and then to have her/him snatched away by a whipping hand drenched in blood.
if harrypotter was involved i would be hoorified, magic and mutants don't go together. simply put magic is pathetic. i don't mean to insult too many magic fans out there but it really is just a waste of time.
it would also be interesting to see when and if the kids get out what kind of welcome they get from the outside world. whether the get the x-men treatment -being hunted down and slaughtered, or given a burger and chips and let live freely with peaace of mind.

1. I really want Caine and Sam to become really close!2. I think that when they all get out ( I hope they get out!!!) that Pete will go in all the adults brains and show them what has happened during their time in the Fayz.

4. I hope that Edilio and Roger become friends.
5. I hope my favourite characters don't die.
6. I think it would be really cool if Drake and Brianna get together as they have a kind of love-hate relationship.

It would be epic if someone got ingured in the match and was unhealable and their mutant power got even more mutated...Or if More of the characters got together and made little mutant babies with even stranger powers!!!! And what if the wall doesn't open.. Maybe it could be like a zoo. Scientists come to investigate and research what happens etc??
I also think it would be really cool if a new character was introduced. Like they could have been hiding in the Santa catrina hills alone but had some system of hunting.. And was like a barbarian. But then meets the rest of the clan after deciding to be adventurous and then somehow has a deep mental connection with people and can like control their mind or something.. Maybe they force people to do their bidding!! How cool would that be?

Well, personally I would like to see this happening in Light (The book after Fear) 1. The barrier collapsing and Gaia unleashed on the outside world, the FAYZians must cooperate with the outside world to bring down Gaia once and for all.2. The kids are chased out of Perdido Beach and The Lake by monsters conjured by Gaia and are forced to retreat to The Island. They then try to survive a seemingly never-ending onslaught from Gaia and her minions. Finally, either Petey successfully beats Gaia in a death-match or Sam is nearly killed in an attempt to kill Gaia and is on the brink of death and even Lana cannot heal him, finally in a desperate attempt to save him Astrid gets Petey to alter him (Like the Gaiaphage did to Drake) and makes him even more powerful than he already is(maybe an upgrade on his laser shooting powers, his whole body can emit searing heat and blinding light for an indefinite period of time?). Finally Sam manages to kill Gaia with his new-found powers at the cost of his life.

and Gaia gets in the way of it and sacrifices her own life?
(Not really possible though, since Gaia is immune to Sam's Lasers)
Maybe Gaia and the gaiafage have a massive mental war and because of its enormous power the battle rages on inside the fayz but no one is doing anything because its just like the elements going crazy due to the mental war. But then Petey comes in and like fiddles with the elements and DNA and stuff and saves the day an then Astrid goes more insane coz she realises Petey did that and he is good and stuff?
It would be amazing if the mental war was so big that it radiated around the fayz and everyone can hear what's happening but they can't do anythig about it! Maybe it drives Sam to do something he would never have done before.. Anyone got any ideas for what he could do that is SO SHOCKING!?!?!?!?!?!

3. Bug develops an ability to disappear, not just be invisible, and hence communicates with little Pete.
4. There NEEDS to be a bitch fight.
