I didn't know
That I would fall for you
When we met nine months ago
Our relationship was nothing more
Than a budding little rose
A rose I felt blooming all the way to my core
Our relationship is still growing
Becoming something new
Can you even tell how hard for you I'm falling?
My beautiful rose
You hold my heart
Please promise me you'll always keep it close

A rose in bloom
Is a sight; is a clue
This is what I think
When I catch a glimpse of you
You are my rose
The sight I long to see
You are my everything
You mean so much to me
I feel our relationship blooming
Becoming something new
Do you feel the same?
Please tell me that it's true
But then you tell me things
That break my heart in two
I want for you to say instead
That it will forever be me and you

Mer I have to go to bed now :( maybe I'll write some more tomorrow...I actually like writing poems..who knew xD

Hallow ground
Hardened earth
Is there even anything growing
Beneath this packed dirt?
Oh look! Over there
Can't you see?
A tiny, little bud
How can it be?
It's a Daffodil,
It's a Lily
No, it's neither
It's a Rose
A rose in bloom
You can see it clearly
The little rose
Shows strength early
It pushes through
The hardened ground
Who knew a flower
Would be the strongest life around

August has definitely been a month of creativity!! Loving the quantity and unquestionable quality of poetry <3

hope to get back writing in September

The day I met you, you gave me a rose
It was only a bud, but I held it close
I treasured it, gave it lots of care
Hoping it would bloom, for me a flower so rare
The day that followed
Left me feeling hollow
You had left your fingertips' grace
With just one glance, you made my heart race
The flower slowly opened up to me
I wish you'd been here to see
I had thought this flower was a symbol of us
But you left me behind, I lay in the dust
The day after that
You came back, tipped your hat
The rose was still glorious, perfect as can be
Maybe I was wrong and there still was a you and me
A week went by
You stayed by my side
But then the rose wilted, then the rose died
Our love had stopped there, my tears never dried

Clashing swords
Falling skies
He's always been the reason why
Be strong, stand tall
Don't let them see you fall
Fight back
Your strength cannot lack
Nike's call, victory's lips
Will clear a path, sink enemy ships
Hurry, hurry before it's too late
Go to him quickly, before they turn to hate

One and Twelve
Do you hear hearts beating?
Two and Eleven
Do you see shadows lengthing?
Three and Ten
Do you hear lovers fighting?
Four and Nine
Do you see eyes emptying?
Five and Eight
Do you hear voices whispering?
Six and Seven
Do you see arms opening?
Seven and Six
Do you hear wolves howling?
Eight and Five
Do you see fangs dripping?
Nine and Four
Do you hear children screaming?
Ten and Three
Do you see us dying?
Eleven and Two
Do you hear them laughing?
Twelve and One
Did you see them coming?
