Hello, my name is Rebecca. I have just started reading Gena's books and so far I like what I've read. I'm hoping to work my why through all of her books by the end of next year but we'll see how it goes.

I am a book-a-holic and typically read a book a day. My happy place is the bookstore and my home looks like a library. And I'm pretty sure my to-be-read pile is taller then I am.

Greetings!! I recently received an unending Audible membership as a gift. I had been trying to get the local library to get audiobooks of Gena Showalter's LOTU series but they had no luck. The only source was Audible. So, now that I'm in, I have some questions to ask this group. Since I can only get 1 item per month, does it matter if the series is read in order or are they each separate stories? If they can be read out of order, which are the best in the series....probably all of them are equally great.

I think reading them in order for the first time might best. It'll make it easy to understand what their main goal is and help solidify some characters and why they're important when you don't see that much of them later in the series.

Thank you much for the suggestion. Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series is also one that should be read in order for it to make best sense. Anyway, thanks again!

My name is Azet and i am a new fan of Gena Showalter since i first started her "Lords of the Underworld" series this May in 2020 and finished the whole series after 2 weeks.Even its spin-off "Angels of the Dark"-series made my head cloud with obsession!All books in the series are 5-stars for me and i have reviewed every one of them,i absolutely love Gena`s writing,plots and characters.

I love all of the Lords books with all my heart,but i have chosen top 5 favourites couples in the LOTU-series!

1.Paris & Sienna

My heart broke for Paris in all the 8 books after "The Darkest Kiss" when he yearned and craved his Sienna.Many disliked her character (even Gena herself) but i saw some great potential in her as a perfect match for Paris.He had been so carefree and joyful before he met Sienna,but after he quickly lost her he turned bitter,self-destructive and cynical.He craved her so much that he almost choose her over his bestfriend.So when they finally reunited in "Seduction" it was like a magical explosion i never saw coming,the way they looked,touched and thought of each other-it was so romantic and shattering for me and i cried and swooned so much while reading their story!

2.William & Sunny

I mean,come on this is William the Bloody Randy with his twisted humor and arrogance and selfishness...but has a heart of gold underneath all that.He finds his soulmate in Sunny Lane,who gives him a merry chase!!!I loved them so much together,they made me laugh so much that i fell over my bed so many times!Their love-story was steamy,hilarious,beautiful and epic,have re-read it so many times!

3.Torin & Keeley

I never saw Keeley coming..but damn she was awesome!And my beloved Torin finally lost his heart and soul to someone who was ready to fight for him.These two complemented each other in all ways,and are so passionate and awesome as a couple.Torin tried his hardest not to be selfish because of his demon,but he never could deny his Keeley.Gahhhh they are so SMEXAY together!

4.Amun & Haidee

This couple made my heart stop so many times-cuz they ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER!I mean their chemsitry was so explosive that i found myself glued to the pages,i mean i can`t explain how much i love these two individually and together.Amun had a mind of steel who finds his weakness in Haidee and Haidee had the greatest hearts of all-their journey and adventure was so funny,sweet and sexy that i want to re-read it all over again,NOW!

5.Maddox & Ashlyn

The couple and story that started it all,Maddox and Ashlyn got a special place in my heart.They are like two mirrors who face each other that can never pull apart.THEY ARE JUST SO WONDERFUL TOGETHER!Maddox are one my favourite Lords,his torment made me weep so many times,and for him to find his solace and happiness in Ashlyn was such a wonder for me!I love both of them to pieces!
