Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments OK, got Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare . Friday it is - I'm in!

message 102: by DeAnna (new)

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments I think I'll pass on Clockwork Angel, but if you guys do a Gone buddy read, I'll try to get into that one. I'm slightly overwhelmed by review books, but I have some time with those still.

message 103: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments I got Clockwork Angel, I'm ready! :)

DeAnna, I am willing to start a Gone buddy read with you maybe next week sometime, if you want (after Clockwork Angel), since I still need to read that before we do Hunger.

Deanna we can do Gone next week if that's okay, let me know when works for you

message 105: by DeAnna (new)

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments Sounds good. Just let me know what day you guys want to do, and I'll try to make sure I finish up whatever I'm reading by then!

message 106: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments I went ahead and set up Clockwork Angel - just fyi.

message 107: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Thanks Jen! :)

For Gone, can we possibly start Tuesday or Wednesday? :)

message 108: by Jenny, Always smiling! :-D (new)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 12932 comments Mod
Sure we can do either! Which day works best for you?

message 109: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Either of those should work good for me so whatever works best for everyone else! :)

message 110: by DeAnna (new)

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments Either should be fine for me as well!

Ahh, I have already read Gone and am now reading Hunger. I am loving these books.

message 115: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments I was just wondering if anyone is planning on setting up a buddy read thread for Gone starting Wednesday? :)

message 116: by Dalu (new)

Dalu | 71 comments hey guys! what should i read The Maze Runner, Shatter Me, or The Selection?

message 117: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments The Maze Runner. But then I haven't read the others, :-)

We could read Shatter Me together soon maybe? I still have a couple books to read first, but then I'd be up for a buddy read!

I've read it before, but I'd be up for Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi

message 124: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments If anyone wants to read Through the Ever Night, Prodigy, or Rebel Heart -- I'm up for a buddy read. Just let me know.

message 125: by Karen’s Library (new)

Karen’s Library | 11320 comments Mod
I'll read Prodigy with you, Jen! And Rebel Heart! I had been debating on Rebel Heart but it's more fun as a buddy read so I'm in! :-D

message 126: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments I still need Prodigy also. :)

message 127: by David, Mr. Blue Eyes; He's the Best--Ain't no lie!! ;) (new)

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 10717 comments Mod
Lol enjoy! Those are all decent reads. Rebel Heart wasn't my favorite sequel but worth reading and great for discussion. All I have to say is: get ready for some laughs when you meet the guy wearing the dress!

Prodigy was pretty good but still not quite as good as the first in my opinion. Through the Ever Night was awesome, way better than the first!

message 128: by Lola (new)

Lola (lolasreviews) | 563 comments I would also be up for a buddy read of Shatter Me. Although I have 2 review books for blog tours I have to read first.

Nice, ok we can wait a little while :)

message 130: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments OK, I need to get off this "bleah" run I'm on. I need an amazing book! When are we doing Fragments? And is anyone up for Prodigy this weekend?

message 131: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments I want to read Prodigy but I'm not sure how long it will take me to finish Gone since it's a pretty long book. I think it's almost 600 pages.

I will also be up for Shatter Me whenever we do that one!

I can do Prodigy this weekend! ;-)

message 133: by Donna (last edited Apr 17, 2013 10:55AM) (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments When you read Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant then there is Hunger (Gone, #2) by Michael Grant and then Lies (Gone, #3) by Michael Grant and then Plague (Gone, #4) by Michael Grant , then Fear Fear (Gone, #5) by Michael Grant and then Light Light (Gone, #6) by Michael Grant . Gone is a very long adventure you will want to complete, I think. I am starting Plague. Oh, and they are all long books.

message 134: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Yea, I doubt I will read them all back to back though. I seem to read one or two in a series, then wait a few weeks, read another one or two, etc. until it's done! :)

I'm thinking maybe one or two a month for this series is a good pace since they're so long. I don't want to get burned out on it.

message 135: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments If I wait too long between the series I read lots of books and forget what happened so that is not good for me, LOL. I just found Elle Casey's books and read Wrecked (Wrecked, #1) by Elle Casey and will read Reckless (Wrecked, #2) by Elle Casey . I am now reading Apocalypsis Kahayatle (Apocalypsis, #1) by Elle Casey

message 136: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments I thought Apocalypsis: Kahayatle was pretty good. I don't know that it was my favorite ever but it kept me entertained. I haven't read any of the others in the series yet though! I have the second one for whenever I get around to it. :)

I'm reading City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4) by Cassandra Clare and then I'd be up for Fragments :)

I'll go ahead and set up a buddy thread for Prodigy for this weekend. I think there are at least 3 of us interested in reading it! :)

message 139: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Can we start it on Sunday by chance? I may need another couple days to finish Gone. I'm halfway through! :)

message 142: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments Sunday is perfect for me too - and I'll be up for Fragments right after that!

Is Sunday Prodigy Buddy Read? I'm so confused with all the different buddy reads! lol I may jump in with my thoughts a little!

message 144: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Lol, yes, Sunday is prodigy. :)

message 145: by Lola (new)

Lola (lolasreviews) | 563 comments So my copy of Fragments is dispatched on 3 April and I still haven't got it, it's 19 April now. I am waiting a few more days and then I am sending an e-mail to The Bookdepository. Really sometimes I hate the long shipping times from TBD, but still the low prices are worth it.

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 10717 comments Mod
Ok no worries, we can start as soon as you get it, everyone has plenty to read in the meantime!

message 147: by Lola (new)

Lola (lolasreviews) | 563 comments My copy of Fragments finally arrived! I was afraid it got lost in the post, so I am really happy it arrived! So when do you want to start the buddy read?

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 10717 comments Mod
Yes!!!! Great timing, I just read the Isolation War novella today so I really want to get into Fragments! I'm ready anytime! Is everyone else ready now or should we wait a couple days and start Saturday?

message 149: by Meaghan (new)

Meaghan | 383 comments Whenever you're all done with Fragments, I'm up for a buddy read of any of the following if anyone wants (I haven't had a chance to read Partials yet so I'm going to do some R&Rs while you guys do Fragments). :)

Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi Hunger (Gone, #2) by Michael Grant

I'll be in Mexico with no access to internet, (I don't think). But will read while there (on the beach!!!) :) I just can't contribute to the discussion unless I find that internet is available. I also have the Isolation War novella to read.
