Oh my gosh I'm so behind on this thread! I'd definitely be up to continue the Gone series after Hunger if we all like it! And I'm waiting on one person's review before deciding whether to read The 5th Wave lol! I think I'll probably read it though!

So. Those of you reading Hunger. Ya done yet? Are ya done yet? How about now? Now? How about now?

I know it's a long book - I'd join you but none of the Gone series is on audio, and you know how I am. This is crunch week for me to finish my condo and put it on the market. Lots of painting and small things.

I'm leaving on a trip this weekend to spend with my husband (anniversary on Friday, 27 years, woot!) - and as he has found a new car for the graduating senior, I will be driving it the 10 hours back here instead of flying. That means at least one book and possibly 2!

So is anybody up for The 5th Wave? We can start it next Monday. Plus I saw this on Cynthia Hand's Twitter feed

I will probably finish Hunger tomorrow sometime. I am up for a buddy read of 5th wave. 5/20 works for me! I really want to read that one! Maybe after 5th Wave, we can do City of Bones. Maybe tentatively plan for next Friday beginning that one (5/24)?

Jenny, did you still want to start a BR of Star Dwellers beginning tomorrow? We can push it back if we need to.

You guys crack me up! Love it! I'm in for The 5th Wave and City of Bones buddy reads!! I plan on rereading The Dwellers trilogy soon but not ready for tomorrow. I'm going to start with but maybe I'll try for The Sun Dwellers with you guys! ;-)

Yea, I'm out too. I just can't seem to get interested in the Iron Fey series for some reason. Have fun, gals! It's the weekend so I'm going to go jump in my "chair" and get caught up on the buddy read I've not had time to read this week. But, the good news is, after today, my schedule should lighten up until the fall!! WOOT WOOT!! :-D

New to the group not sure what a buddy read is but I'm reading at the moment =)

I'm also going to the bookstore tomorrow and not sure if I'm going to get anything since i don't know what to buy and I'm thinking about re-starting soon since I had trouble sticking with it over winter break...

Some people are doing a buddy read of City of Bones right now, and I think they're planning on moving onto City of Ashes next :) So you might be able to buddy read City of Glass with them when they get to that one :) I've read them all already!

I haven't finished city of Ashes yet and to be honest I don't really remember it so I might be able to buddy read when a group decides to read that one. I'm open minded whatever happens happens...but I def want to get back into the series since the movie is coming out and I own them =)

Yep, the 5th Wave starts today. There is a thread set up for it. We just read at our own pace and you can talk about it as you go through. We just put where we are and add spoiler tags for people who aren't at that point yet. :)

Hi all quick question, I was just wondering if anyone was planning on doing a buddy read for the I had a hard time getting through it this winter and I feel like a buddy read will help me get though it! Feel free to let me know at any point =)
