The Mystery, Crime, and Thriller Group discussion

I am not new, as I've been using Goodreads for about two years. I simply love the phone ap and constantly use it. I am an avid reader of mysteries, thrillers and the like. I like Grafton, Muller, Buchanan, Matera, Cornwell, Barr, Glass as well as many others. I also enjoy paranormal twists of mysteries. If it is gory and bloody or has women or children being beaten or raped I will likely not read it. Currently, I am participating in the State Challenge and UN Challenge slowly! I am also reading a few assassin, hitman type books too. I like yakking so invite new friends.

Hi Wendy. I'm still working my way through the State and UN Challenge too. Thanks to the challenge I discovered the Longmire books by Craig Johnson and I highly recommend them.

I only wish people would update more often. The Craig Johnson books sound good.

Welcome, Wendy! I see one of the authors you like is Marcia Muller, who's also brought me many hours of enjoyment.

Welcome Wendy...you might like the Charles Todd series about Inspector Rutledge. I am not a fan of brutality or gore either...I find that British mysteries are my favorites. Other good authors are Ngaio Marsh and Martha Grimes.

I have read Grimes, and enjoyed as well.as Dame Christie... so so many to read, i really need to stop adding books To Read list!
