i know. but i can't accept that josh betrayed his sister... i think her sister loves him more than he loves her

i have to agree. but i think the bigger reason for his betrayal is because of his distrust towards the flamels.

I always thought Josh's betrayal was because of his jealousy towards his sister and Dee manipulating him.

Yes he does but it was shown that he doubted the Flamel. He even went far at that with telling Sophie she could not trust the Flamels and Scathach. His jealousy towards his sister... well, he was awakened by Mars so they're basically equal so I think he went with Dee because he wanted to know the truth and who is right; Dee or Nicholas.

Sad how Sophie's situation is mirrored in Aoife's with Scathach. Josh is more immature than Sophie and wants the power while Sophie is more ambivalent about hers. Sibling rivalry always brings out these types of conflicts.
