Charles Verhey (charlesverhey) | 70 comments A murderer is on the loose. Cass isn't the only pyrokinetic in town anymore, and the new guy... well, let's just say he's got a grudge and plans to burn PsychTeam to the ground - along with everyone in it. Can the city handle two psychic fire starters? If that weren't enough of a mess, there's a new monster on the prowl, teammates are trying to kill each other, and some guys in suits and sunglasses are poking around the office. It's just another day on the job for the band of psychic sleuths in the second book of the urban fantasy series, "Firecracker: City on Fire".

Hi all. I just wanted to show that I am indeed working on the next book. It's been a slow-go this summer, but I'm getting back into a regular writing schedule and finishing this book is my top writing priority.

Meant to respond to this one earlier, but I'm super excited to see the next book is being worked on Charles.

Charles Verhey (charlesverhey) | 70 comments Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with how this one is turning out so far. And this time around, I'll actually have ARC books to share with my peeps here.

Cool! Definitely looking forward to it!

You know, I was just thinking. Goodreads needs to come up with a way for a club member to have a giveaway but only make it available to members of that club.

Where's their suggestion box?? :)

You could start a post with a comment being the entry then use random.org to pick a post number for the winner.

Charles Verhey (charlesverhey) | 70 comments My method of selection for an early ARC giveaway will likely be far less of a game of luck, and more of a "Wow, you read and reviewed my first book?! Well here, have another!"
