Brooke - One Woman's Brief Book Reviews (onewomansbbr) | 781 comments 4 stars for *crime/satire humour* Identity Crisis by Ben Elton Identity Crisis by Ben Elton.

While I enjoyed this it definitely won't be to everyone's taste and I'd recommend trying an older satire novel from this author before picking this up.

PattyMacDotComma | 813 comments I just finished the heart-warming The Messenger by Markus Zusak, one of Australia's most-acclaimed authors. This is written for young people, but like all good novels for the young, it's just as enjoyable for adults.
The Messenger by Markus Zusak 4.5★ Link to my review

PattyMacDotComma | 813 comments It was a treat to re-read One Good Turn by Kate Atkinson. I liked it even better than before. First published in 2007, it was re-released along with the rest of the Jackson Brodie series to get us warmed up for #5.
