I started reading this series because I have a couple of long time favourites by Josephine Tey. They seem to gather mixed reviews, but I have enjoyed the two I have read so far.

Oh and fun fact - this story is set on an estate called Penrose, in Cornwall, near Heston & Penzance. My GGG grandfather worked as a young man on an estate in in Cornwall, near Heston & Penzance called Penrose, and when he came to Australia, named his farm at Millthorpe Penrose. Coincidence - or set on the same estate?
