Varying reviews/ratings Michele...it sounds so familiar though, like the recipe has been done before!

Michele Exactly Brenda :)

Peter Stankovic | 109 comments Recently finished 'Bombproof' by Michael Robotham. Great fun. Started 'The Street Lawyer' by John Grisham which is ok but not as fast paced.

I love Michael Robotham's work, but didn't really enjoy Bombproof - I'm glad I kept reading his work though as that was my first!

Peter Stankovic | 109 comments The first Michael Robotham novel I read was 'Wreckage' which I thoroughly enjoyed.

David Kilner (boris1947) I'm reading Book 2 in the Martin Beck series by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö - pioneers of late 20th century crime fiction.

David Kilner (boris1947) I’m reading The Fire Engine That Disappeared, one of the Martin Beck procedurals from Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö. I’m amazed at how these two manage to combine tension, mystery and humour. The dynamics between the police team are fun to watch.

Their titles are interesting David;)

message 677: by David (new)

David Kilner (boris1947) Yes - and they always turn out to be totally appropriate! I think the titles are little in-jokes that Maj and Per had between them - they were a couple who wrote at the kitchen table after putting the kids to bed each night.

Initially (the first couple) not quite as good (but still really good!), but now, most definitely! I've just found her list of books and am saving the list so I can work out which ones I own...

on Timeline on the side. The one showing Say Goodbye appears to be the last Quincy & Rainie...:(
