I did enjoy this book. Although I feel it was missing something half way through it. Then towards the end it picked up and and I just wanted to know how it was going to end.
Glad you enjoyed it Sharon:) Interesting what you say about it going "flat" in the middle though...
I loved that one Sharon! But you will have to read Never Knowing by her too... it was amazing!

Now reading Thirst, the debut novel from Aussie writer L A Larkin, a book I've heard only good things about.

I enjoyed that book as well Vicki :)
I have just finished
Defending Jacob by William Landay which was ok - a bit drawn out, but the twist at the end was good.
I am just about to start Rip Tide by Stella Rimington, which is the 6th book in the series, I have enjoyed the others, whilst not mind blowing they are a good quick read.

I never use to Vicky but now I do.
Sometimes I've got 3 books on the go....Audio book which I listen to in the car on the way to work and back, 1 on my eReader and the another one on a paper copy.
Usually I would pick different genres but in this case I've got 2 crime ones, so I'll see how I go.

I'd be forever mixing up the plots, I think. ;)

I saw it on the 2013 Davitt Awards Shortlist and couldn't resist.

This sounds quite interesting Vicki. Think I might have to add it to my never ending TBR list.

Sharon, I'll let you know how I find it when I'm finished. Shame I can't lend my Kindle copy more than once (already promised that to someone else). :(

Look forward to seeing what you think Vicki. I just checked my library and they have a copy. I'm afraid I still only read book versions I haven't caught up with the new age of Kindles, or E readers etc. But thanks so much for thinking of me :)

I just finished The Silver Linings Playbook: A novel. Next, I will read The Art Forger by B. A. Shapiro. (This is my first post here. Did I do ir correctly?)

Geoff wrote: "Finished Broken Prey by John Sandford. The twists and turns of the plot, and the mounting suspense towards the end, kept me on the edge of my seat. I'll be looking for more by Sandford. 4.5 stars."
I haven't read anything by this author Geoff...I just had a bit of a look and they sound good. Do you think they should be read from the beginning, as in the first in the series?

Sharon, I've finished Missing You. A 5-star true crime read (http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...) and well worth checking out.

Glad you enjoyed it Vicki. I will request it from my library now I'm looking forward to reading this one. Thank- you :)

Can I just say how out of all the groups I am in on Goodreads, Aussie Lovers outshines them all. It is such a friendly group, people like yourself taking time to comment on peoples post, I love that. Joanne x
I know you recommended this one to me Michael, but I'll wait until I hear your thoughts before I decide;)

I'm at the tail end of Touch & Go - I'm loving it - but I pretty sure I can fit in another audio book in before my trip to the US. I've got Dark Places and White Jazz, I not sure which one to choose
Great review Mish:) Sounds like a coin toss for your next one!! Glad you're enjoying Touch as well...
