Meanwhile, The Handmaid sat down on a chair, quite sad with her life. She sighed and stared straight ahead.

Dolorosa kept on walking until she came face to face with the ((DADADA)) Handmaid.

The Handmaid stared at the Dolorosa for a moment.
"Hello?" she asked her.

"Oh, hello," Dolorosa said, looking down.

"I think I should go now, my son is waiting."
meanwhile, Signless had been waiting for his mother for a while and was starting to get worried. He pulled on his shoes and started on the path in the direction she had gone.

Signless stopped short apon seeing his mother.
Noticing she was on the ground, He ran over to her as fast as he could, almost oblivious to the other woman there.

He nodded back, still worried, but calmed by his mom's embrace. He looked up at the other woman there.
"Who is that and why did she hurt you?" He questioned.

Signless looked down at his feet.
oops.
In his hurry he had worn the older, worn out ones that his mom outwardly hated.

Signless blushed a little. His mom was serious about fashion. He quickly put his head down covering his pink flush. He didn't want the strange lady to see his face; he felt a chill and hoped she didn't notice.
Signless nodded and looked up at his mother with uncertianity in his eyes. He lowered his hands from his face slowly. He looked right into the handmaid's eyes without hesitation.

"You're right.." He murmered back to her.
Signless smiled a little; feeling a little better, but still a bit on edge.

"I don't know why the hemospectrum even exists,"she mumbled.
"I just don't think it's right...The way others act about it.." Signless looked to the side; talking like this was dangerous, and he knew that in the sight of most others, his blood class would be least tolertable of all to say such things. He knew his color was different. And It was stressful, being careful not to let people know.

Signless squeezed his mother's hand.
"Why? why do they do such bad things..."he questioned with a simple purity only obtained by the young.
He leaned against her, trying to seem brave.
"Don't worry..I'll always be with you."

"Don't cry mom"
He softly stroked her hand; looking up at her with a child's interpretation of what heroicness should be.
"I'll be here to protect you,,You don't need to worry."
Despite his words, Signless felt his voice waver with fear.

"Why?" He looked into her eyes. Her uncertainty scared him. " y-you never did anything bad to me..."((oh god it's making me cry))

"Sweetie, I know, but they're looking for you and I'm afraid I'm not doing a good job at protecting you." She looked at her son.
"I hate them so much."
He pulled his hand back in surprise. "Why would anyone not like me? I didn't do anything to anyone..I usually don't even talk to them.."
Signless looked down. "I hate my blood color." He Whispered. "I can't do anything. Nobody listens to me.. I can't play with anyone... I'm even scared to be near some other trolls with higher blood." he admitted, pink coming to his face.

((Hey, Elisa, is the Sufferer a little kid or an adult in this?))
((little kid :)))
"..." he hugged back limply. "I'm not scared of you.." he murmered softly. "But, I wouldn't blame you if you were scared to be with me.." he breathed. "If they knew you were with me... You might get hurt." he hugged her tightly, as if worried she might be dragged away at any second.

"I don't care if I get hurt, as long as you're alright," Dolorosa said, beginning to cry. "I'll always be with you, no matter what."
Seeing the jade color his mother's face, Signless hugged Dolorosa even tighter, feeling tears come to his own eyes.
He put a hand to his face, pulled it away, and gave the red splotches on his hands a glare. "mom...?" he said quietly, his face still buried into her robes.

"special.." he echoed softly "why does it have to be a bad secret, if it's special..?" he began, but stopped; knowing his mother wouldn't have an answer to this question. He traced a little with the toe of his shoe in the dirt, asking another impossible question.
"Is special good or bad?"
"Is special good or bad?"

"it's good...." he repeated, as if trying to assure himself. "But I'm luckier than any of the highbloods." highblood. It sounded bad on his lips; as if the word itself was trying to make him feel unworthy of saying it. "I'm strange.. I don't have a lusus...." he looked up. "But it's all better because I have you. You wanted me, right?" he smiled a little.

"I don't even care because I love you so much!" he laughed, showing slightly sharp teeth. "I feel even a little bad for the..highbloods. They only have their lusus, and I have you..." he paused, thinking. " if I'm special, and I have to hide most of the time...Would you get in a lot of trouble if they found me? Like timeouts for a whole year..?"Signless asked, his eyes wide with Imminent fear.

Signless's scared expression was mixed with confusion and disbelief. He couldn't imagine anyone telling his mother what to do, let alone being the boss of her forever. he shook his head, moving his dark hair back and forth. "Don't worry, No one would ever do that..."
Dolorosa walked down the pathway, incredibly bored. ((Waiting for someone to come))
