Shhh~~~

Xavier and Jacqueline stepped into the library. Jacqueline had finished her coffee on the walk from the cafe to there, her taste buds were now officially scorched. "You take the right side I'll take the left" she whispered to her brother as they split up and started searching the bookshelves.

They ran their fingers along the leather bindings of the books as they looked for a title that could give them any clues to what had happened to their cousin. Xavier had been very close to his cousin and losing him was like losing a brother so he was desperate to learn whatever he could so that maybe he could find him.

Chandler walked towards the library,sliding the book in the return slot on the side of the wall.He slid inside and walked towards the rows and rows of books.Chandler loved to read,since it's what helped pass the time.His sister sometimes came into town,but it wasn't always.He was going to get a new book today,so when his sister came today and left,he would be prepared for until next time.

Jacqueline searched bookshelf after bookshelf for anything "yeah, because of course it would to easy to have a book titled secret scientific study where scientists implant barcodes onto people" she muttered softly to herself. She didn't know anyone other than herself, her brother and the librarian were in there and the librarian was in the back office so she wasn't too worried about being silent plus, whoever heard her would have no idea what she was talking about.

Xavier worked his way down the bookshelves on the other side of the library. He was very focused and read each of the titles twice to make sure it wasn't related to anything he was looking for. It took him a very long time to simply do one shelf but to him this was important enough to take up so much time.

Chandler walked past row and row of books,browsing the sections.He walked forward with his eyes on the books when he slammed into some one,instantly reaching down to catch them."I'm terribly sorry I didn't look we're I was going."chandler said looking down at Jacqueline

Jacqueline was caught off guard and immediately fell when someone bumped into her only to be caught by the same person. She glanced up and shook her head "No, no, I'ts perfectly all right" she said as she plastered on her fake smile. She scrabbled out of his arms so she was standing upright and in front of him "I wasn't paying attention" she said finishing her first statement yeah, wasn't paying attention. How could I be so careless?! she scolded herself mentally as she flashed her usual fake smile at him. What if he heard what I said about the barcodes? oh well, he wouldn't understand even if he had she thought, reassuring herself.

Chandler frowned slightly"Do you really expect me to believe you?You obviously know I heard you talk about the barcodes and I think I would know a fake smile when I see one,I have a barcodes sister I'm not stupid."He said with a sigh

Jacqueline dropped her smile and frowned as well "I have no idea what you're talking about" she said as she moved to step around him "I have things I need to do so please, don't waste my time" she said shaking her head. She cursed herself mentally, of all the people to over hear her it had to be someone who actually knew what she was talking about.

He shook his head and grabbed her arm,spinning her around.He sighed"Tell me what you know about the barcodes."he said with a frustrated look on his face which made him look oddly cute.

Jacqueline smirked at him "Look pretty boy, why don't you just go back to you're daily routine and leave me to my work" she said. She didn't bother trying to pull her arm free, at least not yet, she was giving him a chance to let her go. She looked him over examining every inch of him, she looked for anything that looked like it could be used as a weakness or anything that looked like a strength.

He chuckled"Pretty boy huh?Fine.But just know I will find you one day and you will tell me what you know about the barcodes"he said,letting her go and walking away from her,grabbing a random book from a shelf and leaving.

"Oh dear me, I'm so sacred" she muttered shaking her head at his threat. She turned on her heel and walked over to where her brother was "we have a problem" she said as she stood next to him.

"I thought I heard voices, and whenever you meet new people, bad things happen" he murmured as his eyes scanned the shelf.

"I may have acidently mentioned bardcodes and well some guy over heard me and knew what I was talking about. Apparently his sister is like Mal (their cousin) and he wanted to know what we knew" she told him.

Xavier looked at her with a raised eyebrow "I don't get where the problem is."

Jacqueline sighed "I told him to buzz off but he said he'd be back, I'm not too worried since I could probably kick is butt anyway but still..."

Xavier went back to scanning the book shelf "you could have told him what we know and then found out what he knew."

"That thought crossed my mind but well I don't trust the guy, someone with a face that pretty can't be trusted" she said with a smirk. She was joking about the pretty face comment but she still didn't trust him but Jacqueline didn't trust many people.

Chandler walked out of the library,the book in his hand.He walked to the park,the place where he and his sister would be meeting up.

After searching some more they both left the library, disappointed as usual. "Lets go to the park" Jacqueline said with a sigh and started walking with her brother.
