Pulp Fiction discussion

I recently wrote a bunch of super short crime stories for a competition. It was a departure for me, I read the stuff but have never had any inclination towards writing it, preferring to focus on misguided literary pursuits.

Anyway after getting some positive feedback I selected a few for competition and A Dog and Duck Story was the highlight of what was left over. It is being developed in to a short film that I hope to direct in the near future but I thought I would actually post something specifically creative (as opposed to critical) online for the first time in my life.

It's over at my blog because Goodreads wants to all kinds of rights over the text if I publish it as a story here.

Id be lying if i said reading the early short stories of lawrence block didn't influence my structure.
