I learn more about essay structures in WAS than English.

We have short answer quizzes and sometimes essays about how all the things relate, etc.

Well, I'm not going to take IB. I'm going to take AP.

IB has the same curve as AP now I hear.

It always did have the same curve. >.<

(I personally think IB is still worth it though---like for science, you cover things in a lot more depth.)

I heard from all my teachers that AP helps you get into colleges in the US easier. And you'll get more time to do extra activities.

Eh, I think that AP is more recognized by colleges in the US. IB is more of an international thing.

Yeah. So the red cross club is like a helping people thing?

Red Cross club, sorta. We have the occasional volunteering thing + training stuff for what to do in various situations. (Like official First Aid trainings. ^______^)

The one that's a lot more volunteering oriented is Outreach...which I plan on joining next year, but was too lazy to this year.

Clubs in Westwood are mostly student run with like...a teacher supervising, but not really doing much.

The teacher who sponsors the Red Cross Club is really nice, and teaches AP Biology or something.

Yep, there are officers. This year's officers are seniors, and so they'll be gone next year, but they've picked new officers for next year. (If you know Kevin Vo, the one currently in 9th grade, he's going to be the president next year, and I the vice president, plus a whole bunch of other current freshman.)

But anyways, w00t! Have recruited two people already. XD

If I take IB, i get to take Art in ninth grade. *sigh...my dream come true...(art, not ib!)
