Any group that has challenges: Romance Lovers for the Challenge-Impaired, Romance Readers Reading Challenges, SOS: Serious Overload of Series. "
I know I'm going to be accused of being an enabler by those who know me well *ahem* but ... if you like challenges, you need to check out the Crazy Challenge Connection. We have challenges of all kinds, several that have just been posted and will begin on September 1 :)

I have a Nook tablet and a Kindle keyboard, but still love my paper books an awful lot. I love to add new friends on GR so send me a friend request and I will gladly accept [email protected]. :)

Where are you from? Born and lived all my life in South Carolina excpet for a wonderful Summer spent with my aunt/uncle in Tennessee.
What do you like to read? I read ALOT of YA and Urban Fantasy but usually just depends on the mood I am in. I occasionally like to grab a quick chick lit or mystery!
What's your favorite kind of challenge? I have taken to the group challenges like Bingo, Scattergories, and Scavenger Hunts here lately but the good ole spellouts are awesome anytime as well!
Were you invited here by someone else? In a round about way I was. I saw a post about this wonderful group in S.O.S. in a post Steph made and came to check it out.
What other groups do you love here on Goodreads? Serious Overload of Series, Crazy Challenge Connection, Romance Readers Reading Challenges, The Challenge Factory, Nothing But Reading Challenges, The Lost Challenges

I fell and hurt my bad leg, my computer died of a virus, then Issac knocked out the internet until today.
I missed the deadline for the Battle of Bookshelves and everything :(

I hope all is well now - or better at least.

I'm Silver (Anne) :).
I kept seeing this group come up in updates of my friends, so I decided to have a look :).
Where are you from?
I'm from Dresden, Germany. :).
What do you like to read?
I like High Fantasy, Fantastic, Magical Realism and World Fiction & travel books :).
What kinds of challenges do you like?
I like challenges that are somewhat open, because I like to switch books around. And I love making lists ;).
What other groups do you love here on Goodreads?
The 2012 Reading Challenge. The CrazyChallengeConnection and the SeasonalReadingChallenge. And the Around-the-World challenges, in 52 or 80 books. :)

:) Thank you Cherie :).

I am the mother of 4 grown children and the grandmother of a 6-year-old grandson. We live in suburban Massachusetts, about 30 miles west of Boston. A few months ago I would have said my favorite genres are romance and mystery, but since being on GR I've definitely branched out and found some great books in other genres. I've joined The Challenge Factory, Seasonal Reading Challenges, Crazy Challenge Connection, among others. I'm so happy to be here!

good to have you Silver, have fun in your new groups.

What do you like to rea..."
I've been to Dresden, beautiful city. I'd love to make it back one day. Good to have you here!

My name is Natalia and I have been invited to this group by Cherie (Thanks a lot, Cherie, for inviting me. It was a wonderful idea to create this great group for challenge addicts).
I am from Slovakia, living with my husband, 14 month old daughter and cute little dog (westie). I like spending time with my family, listening to music, travelling, knitting, doing yoga and I LOVE to read. A good book, a cup of coffee and some chocolate…that’s the best relax for me ever. I read a lot…classics, fantasy, mystery, chick-lit, thrillers, historical fiction… My favourite authors are Coelho, Kundera, Ahern, Austen, Gaarder, Christie, Zafon, Larsson, Gaiman, Murakami. I prefer reading in English even if it’s not my mother tongue.
My husband has bought me a Kindle recently and I think it makes me even more addicted to reading. I love challenges, I usually do spell-it-out ones, as they are probably the easiest ones, but I am up for any kind of challenges.
Hope I can meet some great reading friends here so I would be happy to accept your friend requests. :)
And now I am going to join some challenges. :)

Yes, it is :). I've played a tourist for one day to take some pictures. I had forgotten how many people come here every day :).

I'm Amy :) I'm 22 from Yorkshire in England. Basically, I wanted to read more... so I bought a Kindle Touch... Now I can't stop reading lol. So I found GoodReads on my iPhone and started to store the books I read/want to read, etc, and now I'm exploring more :) At the moment I'm reading 2-3 books a week on average. I recently started my own Book Blog so I can write honest reviews :D
What do you like to read?
I mainly read epic fantasy, however I've also read historical fiction and liked it, the same goes for autobiography/biography (Katy Piper and Maggie Thatcher) and Da Vinci Code. I liked them all :) I'd like to start reading a wider range of genres though.
What's your favorite kind of challenge?
I'm not sure yet, I've joined the GoodReads 2012 challange and set myself a goal of 50 books. I started it late (August I think) so I don't really have long lol. I'm 18 books into it :)
I like the look of some of the challanges on here, i.e. "Schools In, Summer's Gone", "Covers, Covers, Everywhere", and "Out with the Old" :) I think I'd like to give them a try.
Were you invited here by someone else?
Nope, found you all by my lonesome :) lol.
What other groups do you love here on Goodreads?
To be honest, I joined two groups last night, and one this morning. This is the first group I've posted on so I'm still new to the whole 'GoodReads Group' thing.
Nice to meet you all :) Hope to read with you all soon!
Happy reading!
Amy
EDIT: P.S. I'm also a fan of the Star Trek books lol, how could I forget to write that! I've only read a few Enterprise and Voyager so far, but they are quite enjoyable :) Not the best books I've read, but certainly interesting and full of ideas :)

Where are you from? Florida's Emerald Coast
What do you like to read? Usually fiction -- work is pretty taxing so light reads, humorous fiction & mysteries are my go-to.
What's your favorite kind of challenge? I am brand spankin' new at challenges. Sounds like a good way to discover books I might not normally pick up.
Were you invited here by someone else? No, I just stumbled across the group. I'm looking forward to it!
