A book suffers when it is neglected, especially if one hasn't had the time yet to bond with the characters,

Currently, I'm in the middle of Broken Harbour (very, very good). Still plodding my way through Gravity's Rainbow which I've discovered I actually like, but it's still very difficult.
Realize why I "love" so many books I read/am reading: if I don't, I stop reading!

I am enjoying Savage Breast: One Man's Search for the Goddess but for some reason I dont LOVE it but find it fascinating and enjoyable.
StartedSebastian's Pride which is a family dynasty unfolding in Argentina. i will take it with me to the parade to read when i need a break on the float.

I think when school finally ends in a couple of weeks, I'll focus on GR & have better concentration.

Also still working on some Rebus books by Ian Rankin.
Time to get some holiday (September) reading together.
All is well, albeit very busy - Grandson No 2 is still awaited in the next couple of weeks.

At work I casually started John HawkesSweet William: A Memoir of Old HorseIts kinda harsh. But I am enjoying it, more than St' Lucy's home for girls raised by wolves by Karen Russell which isnt listed with GR today, but was when I added it a few days ago.??? see it on my home page. In fact, I'll do my updates now.
