Rachel Eliason (RachelEliason) | 102 comments I sent an email. Thanks for posting. I can definitely use more reviews. Just out of curiosity, are their specific criteria for violence, sex or drug references? 1-10 seems subjective to me. I tried to be as specific in my description as I could.

Jared Gullage | 14 comments Agreed. Thank you for posting. I specified categories thusly: Explicit sex vs. Implied or indirect sex content, and tried to remember what my books had in them. I don't do gratuitous usually, because I want my family reading my stuff, but I have a few adult themes and ideas still.

Russell Bittner (russell538) | 106 comments Dear OpenBookSociety,

Your I. D. Page here at Goodreads lists you "Female; the United States."

Is there other source we can go to to decide if the OpenBookSociety would be an appropriate venue for our books?

I, for one, don't want to shock (or melt) anyone out of her girdle.

Well, great. Since Jack, Dejana and H. L. all failed to address their most recent answers, we can all sit back and wonder....

A twenty-something-year-old runaway searches for "home" down the yellow brick road's underworld of crime bosses, strippers, and a warped lover who wears a stitched-up happy face mask in this transgressive road trip down third-eye theology, drugs 101, and dangerous philosophy.

- yours cruelly

Sorry for the delay in response...I didn't realize anybody had responded as I don't get to go to the goodreads groups as often as I like :(

Our profile only says female from the United States because the staff member who set up the account is female from the United States. Feel free to check out our site to decide if we are a good outlet for your work or not. Http//www.openbooksociety.com

If you have any further questions feel free to email us at [email protected] for the fastest response!

Jackson Burnett The Open Book Society reviewed my legal mystery, The Past Never Ends, interviewed me, and hosted a giveaway. It was all handled very professionally and I was pleased with the experience.
