I didn't see a way to join this group . ? . .

That's weird. YOu should see a "Join" button below the group name.

That's what I was expecting, but I'm not seeing it. Are others?

That's strange. We have 53 members so far, so the button should be there. I'll log out and see if the button is there.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I see that its saying "membership is restricted."

I'm looking into it. We're getting new members all the time---its a very new group--so maybe its a Goodreads glitch.

Edit: I can confirm that the group is set to public on my end, so its a glitch. I'll send GRs an email if its still doing this a few hours from now.

I signed up with a different email address, and from that account I see the "Join Group" button. I was only seeing "membership is restricted" when I wasn't signed in at all.

If you aren't seeing the "Join Group" button, I think you are either signed out somehow, or the site is glitching.

I joined. I clicked on the green square to bring up the page where you can join. Hope this helps you Karen.

Thanks Kerry...it's a weird issue, but no one else has reported it so far. I've written to GRs support.

I think the problem is with your link (above) it is the link to the topic page and not to the main page. You need to replace it with this one http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/7...
