I read an excerpt of a story probably 2 months ago, and I meant to add the title to my to-reads list, but apparently I didn't cause now I'm stuck and can't remember the name of the damn book!!

I'll keep looking cause it sounded interesting but if anybody can help, it's appreciated.

The part I read is, the lady inherited a castle from her cheating now dead fiance (i think or boyfriend), but the castle had been relocated to america. The damn place is haunted by all the scottish men in the pictures. They come out of the pictures and scare her to try to get her to take them back home.

I can't remember the rest because it was only a little piece I read. But it had sounded so interesting is why it stuck with me, anyone know what book i'm talking about???

It was really interesting.

The castle is a family heirloom, and it's filled with paintings of the different clan leaders through the ages. When the last guy inherits it (modern day)instead of leaving it in Scotland he brings it over to America, for like a tourist attraction. But he ends up dying or something, and his girlfriend or fiance was the person he left the castle too. Except she doesn't want it because she hates him because she finds out after he dies that he had been cheating on her, and because the place creeps her out.

It started off with the ghosts gathered around talking about how they are going to convince her to take the castle back. They all agree to scare her shitless...the sample ended with the ghosts confronting her. And her being like "OH SHIT!" lol

It was really well written and not totally OUT THERE...

:( No it isn't "A Man In A Kilt" (thought I did enjoy that book) and it isn't the other book either.

It's called Some Like It Kilted. So Kelleigh you weren't far off at all! :D

I tried googling it. Do you remember where they moved the castle to? Or the name of the heroine?
