Samantha | 146 comments Do you think that the name you have suits who you are? If not, what name do you think suits you? What would you name yourself if you HAD to change your name?

I guess my name fits me somewhat, but I think I'm an Ashley.

message 3: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I think it does and if I had to choose something else it would be something strong and unique.

message 4: by Becca (new)

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 146 comments Kind of. I recently discovered my name means faithful wife, which is kind of a bummer, because I don't think I would be a faithful wife at all. I think I half-hoped my name meant "she who is supremely awesome and kicks butt." But I guess that's not really Rebecca-From-The-Bible-ish. *sigh*

If my name could be anything, I would choose Harlow. Or my sister's name Tegan. How come she gets the cool names?

message 6: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Grefer (vgrefer) | 1 comments I do. My name is Victoria Alexis, and I like it a lot. I get a lot of people saying they like it (though I get called all kinds of V names: Veronica, Valerie, etc)

message 7: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 70 comments Amanda Lynn fits me perfectly. I can't imagine having a better suited name. :) Well, except for Mandy which is actually what everyone calls me.

message 8: by Kirstin (new)

Kirstin | 57 comments My name is kirstin but pronounced as ker-stin. I don't think my name fits but I like how it is different. If I had to change it I would probably go with something like Abby

message 9: by Terab (new)

Terab (fiddylover) | 34 comments My name is Tera and growing up my understanding was that it means earth (the meaning my mother intended -which absolutely does not describe me); however, after further study of names in college, the spelling of my name is actually the root for monster....hmm, although I don't like my name, it suits me well. LOL! If I could change my name it'd probably be something long and pretty like Isabelle, Anastasia or Vanessa.
