Oh, this sounds awesome. For once the script has flipped and Eve is in Roarke's environment. I am sure hilarity (and bad temper) will ensue.

I wonder when this series will end. But then, if the last book finally made, I don't think I can't say goodbye. I hope the romance department in this book will increase, esp between Peabody and McNab

Nora has plans for this series still and I think it's been said as well that if Eve ever gets pregnant (which isn't any time soon), that it might indicate the end of the series.

Nora states definitively that an Eve pregnancy ends the series.

Read the first chapter and did not want to stop. Why oh why did I read it, cannot resist and now so impatient for it to be out.

I reserved my copy yesterday. I love when a new book of my favorite authors come out. The only problem is after I read it I want another. Fortunately I have several authors that I love. I would go crazy if I had to wait for only one or two of them to finish their books.

Pre-ordering today! I can't wait to see how Eve fares in Roarke's world. And it's a nice change from seeing him immersed in her work.

I know this comes out this month, but what is the date?

Downloaded this with my first cup of coffee. Only about 50 pages in so far but has the 'feel' of one of the good ones.

I've read the first chapter. Do we need to designate this as a spoiler zone so we can discuss when we're done?

Me too. But I read so fast I know I miss some things, so I usually go back and re-read, slower, a couple of weeks later.

I know I'm still going to giggle again at the kid confrontation. I have met so many little monsters that I wanted to threaten it just did my heart good to have Eve do it ... and the mother was so funny!

The scenes of her early exposure to Mavis's daughter were so funny although she's getting better adjusted. Another really funny scene (and I don't remember which book) was the family BBQ/picnic with Mira's family and the little boy, about toddler age, tries to feed her fruit salad.

The gang is back! On the last several books-from NY2D to Delusion, the side charachters weren't making much of-if any appearances. Let me tell you they are back. Especially Baxter and Trueheart and Mavis and Trina. Also Robb has introduced a new character.

The book was another of Robb's hits. Can't say it was an absolute favorite, but I really thought it was good.

Just starting to read it.

Interesting to me this is the first book that I have heard them talk about the Internet and texting. Usually it's ppc and tagging someone. It's kind of weird to hear.

Wow, I am kind of bored with this. I'm finding it kind of slow paced (just starting chapter 9 now) and really struggling to get through it. I have however enjoyed the scenes of Eve interviewing Alva & Sissy and the snowblinding Candida. (Can I also moan that every time I read Candida, the horrible song by Tony Orlando & Dawn go through my head???? Gak! )

i am trying to read very slowly so that i won't finish in awhile ...

I enjoyed this book, as I enjoy all of her books, but it seemed that most of the elements, and even the characters, were rehashed from earlier installments. All in all, not her best.

i just love this part:

When she whispered as much to Roarke, he laughed. Just laughed, then completed the embarrassment by kissing her.
And the crowd went wild.

It was just part of the op, she told herself as reporters began to swarm. Just part of the trap.

I'm finding it a little slow going compared to some of the earlier ones.

Wow. A lot of people are saying the same thing. I finished it in one day and, while it isn't in my top 5, I liked it a lot better than those in my bottom 5.
