Hi, this is driving me nuts because i have been looking for this book for ages with absolutely no luck..sombebody out there has to have read it it, i feel like i'm the only one ( maybe it was all a dream !!! )
OK, here we go, i remember or i thought the title was Ancient Ones: Falling into Darkness Book 1, but every search i do comes out zilch.. keeping it as short as i can the story is about a Vampire named Alexander who is a very powerful Ancient One and is the leader of the Amereican Vampires. the villian is Kaiden who wants him dead so he can take over and rule , he throws him in a vault to slowly perish but then one of Kaiden's minions rapes and tortures a girl "Ellianna" and throws her in the vault with the vamp thinking he is dead.. to cut it short they survive, escape the vault and together go to one of his mansions and wait for Kaiden to come to them.. in the midst of this Alexanders two best friends, Darian and Kieran who thought he was dead come to help him... Of course Alexander and Ellianna fall madly in love and while this war is erupting around them he leaves her in a safe house where she is found by the enemy and killed.
When Alexander finds her he tries to turn her into a vamp but he is too late.. thinking she is dead he leaves her body in a tomb and returns to rule his people, devestated without his mate, but of course she isn't dead and wakes up after a few days and is rescued by a vampire on the run from her evil maker. her name is Mara and the second book is about her and Alexander's friend Kieran and this is the book i am desperate to get my hands on.. All turns out well at the end of this story and Alexander or "Cael" as she calls him by his true name and Ellianna or "Anna" as he calls her get their HEA... by the way her new vamp name is Angel.. confusing?? ? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anyone knows what i have been ranting on about PLEASE HELP.. this is my last resort.. I've got to read Book 2 before i die... :)

I had this on my kindle and I don't remember how I got it. Was this never released as a book? Is that why I couldn't find it ? I can't wait to finally get stuck into the next one.. This is such a good story.. Thanks again ;)

Hi, I also read this story (Falling into Darkness) as well as its sequel Redemption. They are very good. Unfortunately the author never posted the end of the sequel which is very sad since it's such a good story. So If you ever find this author again please please please let us know where because she disappeared without a trace and I would very much like to know what happened next with those amazing characters.
