The Lost Challenges discussion

Ok, per the discussion on the scavenger hunt sign ups I am creating this so we can figure out what to read.

Anybody want to throw some book ideas out or should we check our tBR and see if there's something we're all wanting to read?

I went through and compared my To-read shelf to each of yours. The only book I found on all 4 shelves is Blood Boundby Rachel Vincent.

There were a few that were on 3 lists but not all 4. I didn't take the time to see if they were read or not so I am just going to throw them out for discussion too.

(I stopped putting all my free kindle books on GR so my list isn't quite up to date. And I am up for reading something not on my TBR list)

Where is E?

I have books that are on my excel spreadsheet that may not be on my goodreads tbr list. IF there is a book that 2-3 of you have, just let me know. If I don't have it, I can get it from my library or just buy it.

For instance, I have the Jaci Burton (1-3) but I don't think it's on my tbr list

I need to finish my book for SOS Bingo before I start anything else. I would like to have it done tonight but realisticly it will probably be tomorrow night. After that I can add another book to the currently reading stash. So Thursday or Friday works for me.

I will start on Sunday...so i can use it for the Scavenger hunt challenge. Of course i have to make sure i understand how this round will work since there are 4 categories

The Team Scavenger hunt doesn't start until the 31st. Items are called on Fridays this time. :(

I started today.....

I got to start a little bit, I got through the prologue. I think I should go read the book blurb. I have already forgot what it was about and what I read made no sense, sometimes that is what the prologue is for though to throw you off.

I started too, read like 5% or something? Can't remember for sure. I'll get a dent put in it tonight.

Planned on quiet evening of reading. Made the mistake of downloading the disney chanel app for Where's My Perry tonight. My son played for almost 2 hours before killing the battery on my kindle. Hopefully it will charge back up quickly.

That sux Dawn! I hope it charges fast. I just got to chapter 10. I forgot how good this book is! :)

OH Jenne...this is really one of my favorite series.

He starts calling her, "My Cyn" instead of just "Cyn" early on...which is what he calls his children.

AHuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhg I LOVE THAT DUDE!

And I love that part where they are trying to come into her condo and (a vamp has to be invited in to your home) and she says, "only Raphael may come in."

The guy just walks right up into her bedroom she says, "Ah....You can wait downstairs for me, I won't be long." and says, "That is a common room for company, I am more comfortable here." as if he belongs there and plops down on her bed to watch her dress. It is such a incredibly intimate gesture. As if they are already a couple...I love it!

And then she pushes him off....when he tries to make some moves on her....and he is pissed off....not used to being said "no" to....She says something and calls him "Lord Raphael" and he corrects her, saying, "call me Raphael...you don't owe me your allegiance." or something like that....."Yet."

And then he turns around on the stairs and with that evil grin (pissed off that she pushed off his advances) and asks her with a smug, sexy look on his face: if she has had any dreams lately. He knows damn well she has had very erotic dreams about him! He put them there! What a bad ass!

Girls, just so we are straight...I claimed this book boyfriend along time ago in the Goodreads threads....I was one of the first to chat about this series and will seriously take anyone down who wishes to take him away from me.

Lol Katya he's all yours! I like Duncan anyways with his southern drawl. I'd forgotten what a strong ruler Raphael was. I've always liked that Cyn wasn't helpless. So many times in PNR books the girl has to be rescued. In Raphael Cyn is pulling her gun from jump street and asking questions later.
