I'll try it...Though it's been a while since I've been in school...*grin*

LOL!! I just thought I'd toss in a REALLY long term challenge for those who don't like to feel even the slightest bit of pressure.

*lol*....I don't necessarily mind pressure...I'm just trying to figure out what you meant....*grin*...Are we supposed to make up words that remind us of school and then read books associated with those words?

In this challenge, it's whatever you want. You can spell it out, or just count books that remind you of back to school. If reminding you of back to school reminds you of eating bon-bons while the kids are in school... then spell bon-bons or read books with bon-bons in them ... YOU decide. Spell Back to School if you want to. It's totally up to you how to make it work.

I found a chalkboard image I liked, pulled it into photobucket and used a font that looked like chalk :)

I'd like to give this a try. I've never done a reading challenge before. I've just started "Again the Magic" by Lisa Kleypas, and it has me wondering about time lines and family trees within Lisa Kleypas' novels... that's kind of like history class, right?

No, it's a 'school year' challenge.

Most kids go back to school in September and get out in June.

Hehe. Thanks! Occasionally I have good ideas. I just started thinking of books that I want to read soon or are releasing soon and then it made me think of a myriad of college classes and I thought that was an easy way to make the books fit the challenge.

Eek. Sorry. Since I am a spinster with no kids, I thought I'd ask someone who has kids about that. :)

Well, since all districts have different start and end dates its impossible to say for sure.

I googled it, and I got on average, 36, so I'll go with that. I'll put my challenge together and post it soon.

I think I'll do books that have something to do (loosely) with school subjects. I started a list of books, now I've just got to find the list. I've got many, many lists of many, many things...*grin*
