Does anybody think she remembered when she woke up at the end of the book?
Also, maybe it was just me, but I kinda got the feeling that Mike had something to do with her memory not improving? Maybe slipping something into her food/drink? As he did seem quite controlling when she took it upon herself to make dinner, and not the pork chops as he had planned for that evening? Maybe with his occupation being a lab assistant meant that he could easily access chemicals that could hinder her memory? Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it? I think I got wrapped up in the possible conspiracies a lil too much lol
That is very plausible. I wondered about the pills she found in the house since neither of them ever seemed to take anything. I also wondered when Christine wrote "Don't Trust Ben" in the journal.
Yes! Good points! It wasn't just me imagining it then!
I'm looking forward to reading a SJ's new material when it is available, but I don't think BIGTS needs a part II in my opinion. I like how he leaves a lot open to interpretation, and keeps you guessing right until the very end. Brill read! :)
