Indeed, the second and third books of the OTWW trilogy are in both languages, as you probably know four years after your post! As to Marie Blanche, I was never able to sell it to an American publisher, it was considered "too French."
However, a greatly expanded and restructured new edition of the book, with photographs, will be coming out in France in late August. I'm very happy to know that you've enjoyed my books. Jim

You may know this by now but there is an English edition of The Vengeance of Mothers. I don't know why it was never posted on Goodreads. Mais je suis content que vous avez apprécié l'édition française. The third installment of the trilogy will be published in France in September, 2019. You may know that the paperback edition of Vengeance came out this past Sept. To answer your question, the journal form just seemed to me the best way to tell the story. Thank you.

The complete answer to your question can be found in the Authors Note at the beginning of the print edition of the novel, and at the end of the Kindle edition. The short answer is that the journals are entirely fictional.

Hi Julia, my apologies for not responding to this. I'm going to try to be more attentive to goodreads from now on. If you're referring to a new edition of 1000WW, there is a 20th anniversary edition of the paperback published in 2017. There may be a little extra editorial copy added to it, but no changes to the main text. Thanks for getting it touch.

Despite the fact that the novel was quite successful, critically and commercially, in France, I have been unable to place it with an American publisher. I'm currently working on a new novel, but eventually I hope to re-edit MARIE-BLANCHE for the American market, and perhaps have it published here. I appreciate your interest in my work.
