Do you have to read Scanguards Vampires before Stealth Guardians?

Tina Folsom No, it's not necessary. The series can be enjoyed without knowing what's happening in the Scanguards series - however, you might get a bit more out of it if you know the characters from Scanguards, particularly since Wesley, who gets his story in Warrior Unraveled (Book 3), has been growing as a character from his first appearance in book 4 of Scanguards (Yvette's Haven) until he enters the Stealth Guardians world after book 11 of Scanguards (Blake's Pursuit).

Hi Tina, love all your books, but can you tell me if you will ever re-release the Wild series? I've read book 1 and can't get a copy of Stiff anywhere Audrey

Tina Folsom Hi Audrey, I'm afraid I'm not planning on publishing Stiff. The book didn't turn out the way I'd planned, and is really not up to the quality standards I consider for publishing. Many thanks for your inquiry.

Will you ever write any more Venice Vampyr books? They're one of my favorite series. I'm rereading them right now. I just wish I had a new Venice Vampyr story to read.

Hi. I thought you were writing more Scanguard books. Are you going to release more??

Tina Folsom My next book is the last in the Stealth Guardians series (Demon Unleashed) to release in September 2019. After that, all my plans are up in the air and for now, I don't have any firm plans on any Scanguards books.

Do you know if the rest of the Stealth Guardians books are going to be turned into audio books?

Tina Folsom Unfortunately they won't be made into audio books at this time. After Amazon/Audible changed the royalty structure for self-published authors and stopped promoting indies, the sales of audio books are so low that it would take years to pay for the narrator.

I loved reading your Scanguards Series, & now I anxiously await each new installment of its spin-off, Stealth Guardians.... with that said, Thomas's Choice is still my favorite book thus far... and wanted to ask if you have thought about writing another MM novel set in the Scanguard World?

Tina Folsom Glad you enjoyed Thomas's story. I'm not planning another MM story. Unfortunately, a lot of people skipped Thomas's story because it was MM, and some of them didn't continue with the series after that at all.

Tina Folsom Lara and I had a talk about this a couple of weeks ago, and we decided to discontinue the series since we can't devote any time to it. Sorry.

Any idea as to which book will be coming out nxt? I especially like Stealth Guardians series and Scanguards series. Hope the nxt book are related to these series.

Tina Folsom The next book will be Manus's story in the Stealth Guardians world. There will be Scanguards characters making prominent appearances. I anticipate the release date in late November / possibly December.

Hi I love the Scanguards series! but I admit I haven't read the Stealth Guardians yet (bad bad reader) even though i have them (I will read them). but i read John's Yearning and there were things that related to Stealth Guardian with Deidre. where about is John's Yearning in the Timeline for Stealth Guardians? Also any hints on whose story is next? and possibly when?

There is a slight Diedre-inconsistency that is bugging me. My confusion stems from this. I recall in book 1, Diedre was given a more linient punishment which to me seemed like community service....you know,..cleaning up after the Leila mess but in book3, she has spent a year in a lead cell.i don't get it. did i get it wrong? or do i need to read the first book again?

Tina Folsom You're correct again. There is an inconsistency. It actually stems from several issues: I had initially planned to kill off Deirdre as punishment, but then wanted to change it in the editing process changed to the lesser sentence of the 1 year in the lead cell - and unfortunately that's how I remembered it. And of course, there are 5 years between me writing Lover Uncloaked and Warrior Unraveled, and therefore I also had a different editor for both books. So neither I nor she spotted the inconsistency. It happens, unfortunately. But I'll be rewriting the scene in Lover Uncloaked so that it fits with Warrior Unraveled just as soon as I have a couple of days to make the changes.

Excerpt from Warrior Unraveled; "...lust for power. She robbed me and my siblings of our powers, hoping to harness the Power of Three for herself. Hamish and I never knew that we ... " I was just wondering. is Haven also called Hamish? is their a scanguards book for that story? .i would like to read it

you've indeed spotted an error - that's unfortunately what happens when I choose names that sound so similar. In this passage, it should say Haven instead of Hamish.
