My first published book 'Check the Gs' was based on the concept of write about what you know. I grew-up working in an off -the- wall family business in Washington, DC from ages 6 to 30, so I had plenty to write about ... but more importantly I have a terrific memory.
My second book, 'Saving Rock and Roll' is purely my love of music, especially rock music. I became a music journalist and freelanced. Four years later and I'm ready to publish book number two.

I'm about to finish my second book entitled 'SAVING ROCK AND ROLL' The book is about the music and artists that influenced countless generations and millions upon millions of music fans worldwide. I bring the actual music legend to the reader by way of over 120 recent interviews and intimate conversations .The historical value alone of assembling 120 music legends over a three year span and documented in a single publication is an unimaginable feat. After reading each interview, it will seem as you’re the one chatting with your favorite rock and roll hero. Even though their music lives on … the artists are vanishing and will soon be gone forever! 'SAVING ROCK AND ROLL' will also include an audio CD that will include all the recorded interviews.
These recent and candid interviews include … life changing events, band feuds that have lasted for decades, love affairs with bandmates, drug induced stories, spirituality, metaphysical beliefs, Woodstock memories, Joplin and Hendrix tidbits, mafia owned record companies, untold stories about The Beatles, royalties issues, management and record company thieving and conniving, political views, conspiracy theories, humorous and tragic anecdotes, transitioning to Christianity and suicide.
A Kickstarter campaign will begin sometime in February to help with various marketing and publishing costs of the project.

Don't linger and get it done. Don't let over editing stop you from submitting a manuscript. A good topic alone will draw readers. The content doesn't have to be perfect, don't hesitate to finish it and don't be afraid of criticism.

Hibernating into my own creative world.

I usually change to a completely different scenery. Sometimes being around a lot of people helps, sometimes it'll be connecting with nature or just a simple walk. If it gets real bad, I'll read a classic or two for inspiration.
