Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ray Shasho My first published book 'Check the Gs' was based on the concept of write about what you know. I grew-up working in an off -the- wall family business in Washington, DC from ages 6 to 30, so I had plenty to write about ... but more importantly I have a terrific memory.
My second book, 'Saving Rock and Roll' is purely my love of music, especially rock music. I became a music journalist and freelanced. Four years later and I'm ready to publish book number two.
