I have several works in progress! Currently, I'm working on the next installment to Legacy of Secrets, titled Blood Promise: A Legacy of Secrets Novella. It chronicles the story of Leslie and what role she plays in Lia's life. I'm also working on my first Romantic Suspense novel titled Falling Undercover. It follows a woman in witness protection and the cop that stumbles into her case. Also, Thea's Reawakening: A Shifter Tale which is a reworked version of a story I previously released. Read as much as you can. Find out what genres light the fire inside you and then read some more. Make notes. Keep a notebook with you for story ideas or use an app for quick voice notes. Do your research. Network with other authors, myself included, and then read some more!

It's hard to choose just one thing, but I would say that I love the reactions from my readers the most. Each new book feels like the first one all over again, and I always get so anxious to know whether someone liked my work and how it made them feel. The biggest payoff for me is having someone reach out to me, of all people in the world who has published a book, and tell me how much the loved my books. It's a humbling feeling and makes my heart happy!

The short answer...reading. If I'm feeling particularly stuck, I try to find something in the genre I'm writing and read until I feel the spark again. Sometimes it take a few books, but it almost always works!
