I work at a youth library section and this book was provided as one of the ARCs for our teen board. They loved the title and the ones who picked it up thought it was a riot. It's so fun. Question: Would you write more about falconry in the future (those parts were wonderful). If not, what topic would you like to write about sometime?

Thanks for the kind words! I love the entire world of falconry and would not be opposed to writing more stories that have falconry/raptor rehabilitation as part of the character's world. Right now the topics of the three books I have in various forms of being finished are: space travel to Mars, robotic bees with a diabolical purpose, and a scientist performing illegal experiments on teens. Can you tell my writing brain doesn't think in a linear fashion? I write about whatever new topics interest me, which keeps things fun. :) Kym

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Kym Brunner Noah and Allie from The Notebook. I loved seeing the entire relationship from a young to an old couple and how they stayed together through all of the hardships. Beautiful and heart-wrenching - I remember feeling a pain in my chest as real as any death I'd experienced in real life.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Kym Brunner Join a critique group and write every day. You need to stay IN your story to make it come to life, and your critique group will tell you where you failed in terms of pacing, dialogue, and general story sense.
