HI Sasha,

Thanks for the kind words! I love the entire world of falconry and would not be opposed to writing more stories that have falconry/raptor rehabilitation as part of the character's world. Right now the topics of the three books I have in various forms of being finished are: space travel to Mars, robotic bees with a diabolical purpose, and a scientist performing illegal experiments on teens. Can you tell my writing brain doesn't think in a linear fashion? I write about whatever new topics interest me, which keeps things fun. :) Kym(less)

I loved seeing the entire relationship from a young to an old couple and how they stayed together through all of the hardships. Beautiful and heart-wrenching - I remember feeling a pain in my chest as real as any death I'd experienced in real life. (less)

INSANE SETTINGS FOR NOVELS

Writing suspenseful stories often lead me to investigating creepy places and to ferret out  gruesome details.

And I must admit...I love unusual and scary settings and situations.

Blame it on not having YA books when I was a middle-schooler. Faced with reading sweet boring books with no violence, sex, or
wearing (ugh!), I turned to Stephen King to get a taste of something s Read more of this blog post »

I love this author and his style, but this particular book had too many characters to keep track of. Since I listen on Audible, it makes it even harder to keep all 10? 12? characters' actions bouncing around in my head. Lots of cool concepts explored ...more

“Three stupid pieces of chocolate can't mean a lifetime away from the people I love." Tears streamed down my face, and my body trembled. "I don't want to forget what I have here."

"I won't let that happen to you."

"I want it. The candy," I whispered, ashamed to admit it out loud and scared to death because the ache in my stomach was a hunger I'd never felt before. "Even though I know what it is, I can't stop thinking about it.”
