Long ago, back in August of 2007, I wrote a blog answering the question: "If I send you a copy of my book, will you sign it?"
When I wrote that, the book had only been published for a couple months. What's more, when I wrote the blog, I expected the rules I laid down would [...:]

About a month and a half ago, I tried a little experiment here on the blog. I offered people the chance to ask me questions down in the comments. It's sort of like a machine gun interview.
Much to my delight, it turned out to be fun, so tonight while I'm waiting for Erberts and Gerberts [...:]

So a couple months back, I went to the Detroit area for a convention.
Whenever I'm at a convention I find myself thinking, "I need to mention it this on the blog."
The problem is this: When I get back from a convention, I've usually got a bunch of catching up to do. Revisions. Sarah needs kissing. [...:]

So the other day I make a trip to the university surplus store. That's the place where the University sells things that it doesn't need anymore.
(Whoops. That should be university. No capital letter. It's hard to break certain typing habits after working on the book.)
I love the surplus store. I've bought couches there. Chalkboards. Computers. [...:]

I've got two pieces of mail, both of which should be answered sooner rather than later. So today we're going to have a twofer.

That's right, I was so excited about finally holding a real-life copy of The Adventures of the Princess and Mr. Whiffle that I actually went outside to take a picture of it.

Since I've become a published author, a lot has changed in my life.
Most of these changes have been good things. Money, for example. These days when I go to the grocery store, I don't have to buy the 33 cent burritos. Now I can buy the 59 cent burritos, which contain, if not food, then [...:]

Wherein I discuss the merits of the different types of geek t-shirts, then send out the call for fans to submit their own designs to a contest.

Wherein I ask my readership if they'd be interested if I made up some t-shirts.
