We'll be releasing the final full-length book in the PLAY MAKERS series during the fourth week in June. You'll never guess who the main characters are!

You/we should have seen it coming, but since even QB Johnny Spurling -- with his great vision -- didn't suspect, we're all forgiven.

The book is called PLAY MATES and we actually have a ifnished cover but I've given up trying to insert cover art at goodreads. The photo is up at my livejournal blog if you want to see it! And I'll post it on facebook too.

I might do a few Play Makers novellas after this, but in terms of big PLAY MAKERS books, this is it. Fans of the series will almost surely love it! I know I do. It was so much fun to write in the tradition of the core books like PLAYING FOR KEEPS, PLAY DATE and PLAYING FOR KICKS.

[hint]: this new guy could be an honorary member of the Triple Threat -- too bad he plays for a different NFL team.

The latest PLAY MAKERS book is now available. I wish I could post the cover but I'm inept, and photobucket is down, so I'm just going to tell you a bit about it instead, then I'll try linking to it at the end of this post.

We met Sean in the second book of the series when he and Bam Bannerman provided comic relief for the romance between Erica and Johnny. Bam is the rowdy, irreverent guy with a heart of gold. He had his own story in PLAY DATE.

Now it's Sean's turn. He's a gorgeous guy with green eyes and tons of laid-back charm, so attracting women isn't a problem for him. But Sean wants something more -- a true love affair with the right girl, long walks in the woods, zero melodrama, happily ever after.

He's sure Tess Colby is that girl.

Unfortunately,Tess has heard stories about the adorable kicker and refuses to be another punchline in his overly-romantic tale of woe. As a sports journalist, she's willing to meet over coffee, then over dinner, but only to interview him. Nothing more. And if they kiss a little, well isn't that even more proof that he's incorrigible?

Book 4 in the PLAY MAKERS series is now available. Next up is Sean Decker's book, but this one belongs to Wyatt Bourne, aka the Surgeon. He OWNS it. Enjoy!

If you read TRACE ELEMENTS, you know all about Nikki Gower, the actress who plays FBI agent Annika Trace on a hit TV show. If you didn't read TRACE ELEMENTS, no worries, I can catch you up: In Trace Elements, she helped out with a real case and fell in love with a grouchy FBI agent named Josh. When her show was cancelled, she decided to join the real FBI.

Now in RANDOM ELEMENTS, the show is un-cancelled, and to Josh's chagrin, Nikki agrees to do 6 more episodes prior to her training at Quantico. Her manipulative director tries to break them up, and a seemingly harmless stalker does even more.

In honor of the new book, we also re-did the cover for the first book! I love the new look. And I hope you enjoy the story!

The third book in the PLAY MAKERS series is up and running. For those of you who suggested that halfback Bam Bannerman and kicker Sean Decker should each get their own book, that was the plan. I just couldn't decide who should go first, and as it turns out it didn't matter, because they both insisted on being in this one. It definitely made life exciting for Rachel Gillette, the schoolteacher who was stood up by the QB in PLAYING FOR KEEPS. And now she's glad she was!

PLAYING FOR KEEPS is the next book in the PLAYMAKERS series and I really hope you love it. The first story was a novella (Play By Play) and while it focused on Jake and Sophie, it featured a cameo by QB Johnny Spurling.

Now Johnny has his own book. Right in time for the Super Bowl. Let's hope he scores!!

A lot happens in PLAYING FOR KEEPS. And since Johnny is busy with Erica, I've thrown in a couple of other jocks to entertain us, so there's quite a selection. I keep changing my mind myself.
