Wildcat Hills Update
I’m at 22K with the next book. That’s about half of the story. Although, I never know where the journey leads me, so the book might be shorter or longer than 40K. Lol.
It’s been a while since the last book was released, and I often find it hard to remember where a story left off when I read a series. So, what’s going on with Finley and Vaughn? Poor Fin really doesn’t have it easy. In “Romeo’s Regret” we learned that his mate doesn’t even want to be his friend, let alone accept that they’re fated to be together. Alpha Xander forces them together on a mission to spy out one of Doctor Taylor’s labs so the pride and Donavan’s pack can launch an attack on the evil doc. You might remember that he’s the one responsible for creating the blood-sucking assassins.
Fin and Vaughn travel all the way up to Superior National Forest at the Canadian border to sneak into the enemy’s compound. But they’re almost killed before they even reach Minnesota. The reluctant companions don’t only struggle with a possible traitor in their own rows, but with the tender feelings blooming between them. And when they encounter a surprise in Taylor’s labs, trouble takes on a whole new meaning.
I’ll keep you posted about the progress. I hope to finish the book and submit it before the end of the year. Let’s see.

Teaser for Vaughn & Finley
Here we go, friends. I know a lot of you are waiting for Vaughn and Finley’s story. I’ll get it done. I promise. Meanwhile, enjoy a tiny snipped from their story:
“Shouldn’t we talk about the elephant in the room?”
“The only animal I have the desire to talk about is the cougar who came into my bedroom without my invitation. In the middle of the night.”
Finley threw his arms into the air and let out a loud, suffering sigh. Talking with his mate felt like pulling teeth. Surprising Vaughn while the guy was asleep hadn’t been the best idea, Finley had to admit. But he’d been desperate. “We’re scheduled to leave on a mission in the morning. Don’t you think carrying around unsolved problems could put us both in danger?” Finley suppressed the urge to adjust himself last second and crossed his arms over his chest instead. Mostly because he didn’t want to give Vaughn the satisfaction.
The coyote already knew how he effected Finley. And a naked Vaughn who sat in his bed—the planes of his muscled body softly illuminated by the lamp light and a sheet poling around his waist—caused Finley’s cat to purr in deep appreciation.
Vaughn merely raised a dark red brow.
God, what Finley wouldn’t give to be able to lick over the equally red morning stubble already covering Vaughn’s cheeks.
“Unresolved problems? Do you mean the fact that you forced your way into my mission? Or how you keep following me around and trying to be friends although you know I’m not interested?” Vaughn grabbed his pillow and fluffed it up. “Well, in my opinion the only problem right now is that you’re keeping me from getting some much-needed sleep. That, in fact, could be dangerous because I don’t think we’ll get much sleep during the mission.”
Finley pressed his lips together and took a couple of deep breaths. Yeah, he wanted to smother his mate with his own damn pillow. And maybe punch him in the face for being deliberately obtuse. “Stop being a prick. I want to know why you’re acting as though you don’t know what I am to you.”
“A nuisance?” Vaughn asked with a straight face.
Finley winced. Okay, that hurt. He’d been in the human military for five years. He’d thought he was over taking insults personally. Turned out his mate was his weak spot. “No, my mate.” Finley put emphasis on the last word. He took a couple of steps toward Vaughn and stopped beside the bed. “Why are you denying me? Am I so hideous?”
Vaughn laughed, but it wasn’t a happy sound. A muscle in his jaw twitched. His cold gaze never left Finley’s. “Don’t be stupid. Just because you have a nice ass—and I admit I wouldn’t mind giving it a good drilling—doesn’t mean there’s more between us than lust.”
“So you admit that you’re attracted to me?” That was something at least. Finley could build on that.
Vaughn shrugged his shoulders. He was fit for being in his early forties, but not overly bulky like Malcolm or Bailey. The light set fire to the crinkly copper-colored hair on his chest. The skin under that hair was creamy pale. “Who wouldn’t be? I haven’t had sex in a while, and you’re constantly throwing yourself at me. I’d be dead not to get a boner around you. Is that why you’re here? You want a cock up your ass?”
“No.” Finley squinted.
“Pity. Maybe a good hard fuck would get rid of the tension between us.”

Release Day for Mason
Heya!
My two weeks of vacation are close to an end. Sadly. I had a lot of fun spending the whole two weeks at home. Traveling a lot because of university, it was great to be home for two weeks. At least until the middle of October I can come home every weekend. After that, I’ll only manage once every six weeks because of the distance.
The fist week I took care of my parents’ garden. It’s huge, and since it’s hot as hell and even dryer right now, I had to get up really early to water all the plant. And do it all over again in the evening. I spent the hot hours inside and plotted new stories, of course. I’m happy to announce that I submitted two Christmas short stories (one contemporary, one paranormal) for extasy books’ Advent calendar, as well as a winter-themed shifter story for an anthology.
The second week I spent mostly with my parents. We went hiking twice! It was great, because we visited the places they took me to as a kid. On Tuesday we celebrated my mother’s birthday with my grandma and my mom’s best friend. Today we’ll have a barbecue with the neighbors. Oh, and we went shopping one day, too.
So, what’s next on the writing agenda? Mason’s Intern is now available on Amazon! I’m totally thrilled. I’ll be working on finishing Calvin’s story. Maybe I’ll get a release date this year. Aside from that I’m working on another anthology story about a recently divorced man. Then of course there’s the next Wildcat Hills Pride book. I’m having a blast with Finley and Vaughn. I didn’t forget about Light and Dark. Brian’s story is coming along nicely. Unfortunately, with so many projects I sometimes struggle to organize it all.

Summer is here!
Happy Hump Day! It’s summer! Okay, we’re having a cold snap right now, but so what? One Night in June is available on extasy books for all of you who like short stories, May/December romances, and billionaires falling in love with the boy next door. Check out extasy’s website to browse the summer shorts of my fellow authors as well. I read most of them and they’re all great!
What’s new? Well, we’re almost done with the edits for Anthony’s Tailor! Yay. I’ll let you know as soon as I have a publication date. Once we finished Anthony we’ll tackle the next one in the series.
For those of you who are curious about Viktor from A Bear’s Christmas and his family: I’m working on another short story featuring Juri, Viktor’s oldest son.
I’d love to work on the next Wildcat Hills and Light and Dark books, but the day just doesn’t have enough hours. I need to concentrate on my thesis (urgh) and work 41 hours a week as well. Life sucks, lol.
That’s it for now. Take care and have a great week!

Spring Fever Anthology
[image error]Heya! I spent last week in France with colleagues. It was such a great experience, although I was caught in a bus for hours, lol. We were in Paris for two days. Many people call it the city of love. Well…it’s lovely but also hectic. However, Paris and love leads me to the Spring Fever Anthology that will be released on Friday. I can’t wait to read my fellow authors’ stories. And because I’m sure you can’t wait either, here are all the blurbs and the pre-order link.
Charlie Richards – Bringing Him Down to Earth
A standard ride on the light rail train offers a man fantastic opportunities…if he’s down to earth enough to accept them.
Cory Porter takes the light rail to and from work on a daily basis. After making an extra stop so he can pick up food for an ailing friend, he’s approached by a stunningly handsome man—Benjamin Sturgis. Cory gives in to temptation and accepts a date from Benji. On his way to meet him at the restaurant, however, Cory sees what looks like a mugging gone wrong in an alley… and recognizes Benji right in the thick of things.
Can Cory accept that things aren’t always what they seem, or will he cut Benji from his life… as well as the extraordinary implications it could offer him?
Suede Delray – Amish
Living among mortals requires a sacrifice, one, this time, Amish finds impossible to make.
Amish enjoys dwelling on earth. Neither angel nor demon, he has found the perfect way to satisfy his nature, balancing his power to heal with his talent to punish. A yearly sacrifice each spring when the dark lord demands it is a small price to pay. That is until Amish captures Liam, a young doctor, who Amish can’t bring himself to hand over.
Liza Kay – Catching Kirill
It takes more than pure brawn to be an alpha.
Kirill Vasiliev, third son of a powerful alpha, Victor. He has found his niche as the well-behaved and quiet apple of his father’s eye. When the man he’s in love with refuses to acknowledge him, Kirill wonders whether he’ll ever find happiness.
Alpha bear shifter Andrei Bazin is under a lot of pressure. His clan demands he take a mate who can give him cubs to secure his standing. Kirill, the man he loves, is neither a woman nor an omega. Andrei keeps placating Kirill until the younger man has enough and tells him to take a hike.
However, it’s springtime. And with spring comes the hope for new love. When an unfortunate fight between both bear clans seems like the end of the alliance between them, Andrei thinks he might have found a solution to all his problems. A mating that will unite Hazel Woods and Paw’s Cove.
Deja Black – Wink
A Tengu goblin and a wolf shifter on a trip home for spring break? Throw a little spring fever in there, and it’s bound to shake things up a bit.
Calyx, a Tengu goblin, has one thing to do, and that’s to get an education that will help him protect his mountains and lakes in modern times.
Trey, a wolf shifter, has always been afraid of being himself and has lived his life according to his mother’s rules, rules wrapped in fear and heartbreak.
But, it’s spring break, and these two shifters have spring fever.
It’s time for everything to change.
Lynn Michaels – Red Rut Run
The spring rut is happening, driving Donner to locate his mate, no matter the stakes.
Donner is a red deer shifter on a quest to find a mate quickly, but that may be easier said than done. Their kind is on the brink of extinction. His confidence rises when he hears rumors that there may be another red deer and a chance at saving their breed. The call of the spring rut drives him to follow the whispers and locate his mate.
Rory is a young red buck and may just be who Donner is searching for. First, though, they must outrun the pack of wolf shifters out to end them both.
Catherine Lievens – Roark
What happens when your future is taken away from you?
It’s 2012. Roark is a bear shifter and a PI in New York. While on the job, he notices a man—Noel—who could give him more information on the man he’s been hired to follow. He decides to talk to Noel, in part to get the information, but mostly because he finds him sexy as hell.
When he realizes Noel is his mate, Roark takes him home. Noel is gone when he wakes up, though, before he’s had the opportunity to tell him about shifters. Will Roark be able to get him to understand what that means, or will he be stopped before he can?

Release Day!
Yesterday was release day on extasy books, folks. Romeo’s Regret is now available, and the book already made it on extasy books’ bestseller list. Awesome! Meanwhile I’m outside, sitting in the sun and working on book six. This one will be about Finley Palmer, one of Xander’s enforcers, and Vaughn Cavanaugh, the PI with the broken heart who lost his first mate.
I have another release coming this month, because I’m part of a Spring Anthology. It’s a collection of short stories with a paranormal topic. I chose to give Kirill from A Bear’s Christmas his own story. I hope you’ll like it.

NEWS
Hi friends! I’ve got a new series for you. Maryland Hearts. Well, for me it’s not so new. I actually wrote these books waaay before Marshmallows and the Snow, my first published book ever. The Maryland Hearts series was supposed to be published back in 2015, but the publishing house encountered some problems. Now I got the rights back for the series and they found a new home with extasy books.
I submitted the first book already. The title is Anthony’s Tailor. Anthony attends his identical twin brother’s wedding when he meets Aiden, the tailor of his future sister-in-law. And poor Aiden? He had no idea the guy he’s been dating is his client’s fiancé. It’s a recipe for disaster.
Two more books in this series are finished already, but I want to give them another very thorough editing before I submit them. My writing style has changed since those first days. I learned a lot while working with my wonderful editors at extasy books. So the books I wrote in 2015 are not on the level I’d like them to be. So please be patient. Maybe I’ll have the second book ready for submission by the end of the week.

Light and Dark II
[image error]
Heya! It’s time for an update. My wonderful editor and I finished editing the second book in the Light and Dark series, with the wonderful title “Shade of Blue.” Nope, this is not about BDSM
