Lyssa Kay Adams's Blog: The Bullpen
April 5, 2016
I'm celebrating opening day 2016 with free books!
There are no greater words in the English language than "opening day."
(Well, "warm chocolate cake" comes close. But not today.)
To celebrate the return of baseball, I'm hosting a weeklong Bullpen Blitz over at my blog -- LyssaKayAdams.com/TheBullpen
It's a week of author interviews and book giveaways from some amazing romance authors: MJ Summers, Amy Olle, Stacy Finz, Tamara Lush, Jennifer Sable, and Rebecca Brooks.
Come on over and join the fun!

Why I Love Sports Romance
Confession.
I didn't always love baseball. I used to be one of those people who would roll her eyes and say, "But it's so boring."
But when I finally started to understand the game -- to study the rules and the strategy involved -- I became a diehard fan.
So for that reason, it's no surprise that I chose to write a series about a baseball team (The Vegas Aces).
But there's another reason why I chose to write about professional athletes and why I love sports romance in general: There is nothing sexier than talent.
Professional athletes are the best at what they do. Their focus, dedication, work ethic, and drive make them ideal romance heroes because it's always satisfying to see them brought to distraction by a love interest.
